You guys already know me as one of the finest young quarterback prospects the DSFL has ever seen, but what you don't know is where I want to go in the draft. So no, two nights in a row of YGB being stoned as all hell, I am back to write yet another magnificent piece of artwork for y'all to read following last night's spectacular point. Come down and check out the best article you've ever seen as I become a pro at the game and rank my top destinations in the very long in the future NSFL draft. I'm sorry if my words aren't good, I'm not a poet I'm a high school student.
8th - Arizona Outlaws -
So there is really nothing that I have against the Outlaws, and I love what their team is building, but due to positional need there really just isn't any room for me at all. The team has a very active and very well performing young quarterback already on the way into the pros, and honestly I just don't see it being realistic that they select me at all. Maybe some day I'll play in an Outlaws jersey, but that won't be any time soon.
7th - Orange County Otters -
Orange County is pretty much the exact same situation as Arizona. They have a cool group of guys that I think would be awesome to be in a locker room with, but they also have a very promising young quarterback who's from the same draft class as Arizona's Fitzpatrick, and a guy who hasn't even hit his prime in the NSFL yet. There really just isn't any chance of me cracking the squad in California for quite a long time, and I don't want to wait for an eternity to play.
6th - Philadelphia Liberty -
While it would be awesome to be on a team with one of my IRL friends, I just don't think that Philadelphia is the place that will make that happen since Adriana Falconi has the starting position there on lock. She's a great young quarterback who's only in her rookie season and is continuing to grow, so I don't think she's going to want me stepping on her toes any time soon and trying to make a run at her spot on one of the brightest young squads in the NSFL. That sucks.
5th - Baltimore Hawks -
So Baltimore has a quarterback that is at least a little bit more grizzled than the previous options, and will be more likely to hit retirement than the other people that we have listed. Of course Applehort is an incredible quarterback, and if I were to head to the Hawks I'm sure that I would be waiting at least a handful of season before I even had a half ass shot at making their team, and that would require the young QB to be willing to give up his spot as well, which I doubt he is.
4th - New Orleans Second Line -
New Orleans falls closer to the top of this list because they have a distinct lack of future potential at quarterback, even though they currently have the best quarterback in the game (arguably). Maximus is a great guy, but is right in the tail end of his prime and will soon enough need to be replaced by a younger quarterback, although even then it's a couple of seasons off and I just don't see NOLA being as willing to move on from Maximus as soon as I would like them too.
3rd - San Jose Sabercats -
Now here's an interesting team. San Jose already has a young quarterback in place who is in his rookie season, but from what I see he just isn't progressing as fast as some of the other young names around the league, which means that we could at some point either swap roles and I could become the starter, or San Jose could try and run a tandem quarterback situation. I'm not sure how that would fare with my accomplice in Joliet Christ, but I would be more than happy to give it a try if it meant playing time.
2nd - Colorado Yeti -
Colorado is a team that weirdly tops off this list, and its mostly because of a conversation I had with them very early on in my career about my chances of taking over in Colorado for McCormick when decided that it was time to move on with his career. I think that someone like Howard Miller could still be around as a veteran receiving presence during my rookie season, and having a great like him would certainly ease me into the role as a starting quarterback.
1st - Yellowknife Wraiths -
The Wraiths might be the second worst team in the league right now, but with a quarterback who falls under the middle of the pack in age but also middle of the pack in development I wouldn't be surprised if Yellowknife finds another quarterback to take over for him, and where better than to start with me. By the time that Pennington begins to regress into a shell of his former self, I'll be completely ready to take over the reigns. Not to mention having my buddy Nick (Antonio Summer) as a receiving and running threat, this would be an awesome locker room and offense to join.
So there you have it. I previously said I might be willing to position switch to wide receiver or corner back but I have recently decided that is not my plan at all and that I want to stick it out at quarterback and spend the maximum number of seasons in the DSFL if I have too until a reasonable starting job opens up in the NSFL for me. I'm in for the long haul, and every quarterback should be watching out for me because I'm here to steal your job baby girl.
