I'm not overly worried about winning, but at the end of the day it would have been tough maybe to go to San Jose, since they only got one win this year. I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere that didn't show interest in me beforehand either; I don't recall hearing from Yellowknife, Philly, or Colorado. While they wouldn't have been my top choices, it wasn't like I hated them or anything.

It's by far my highest attribute right now, it's at 84, so that's going to 90 as quickly as possible. My GM encouraged me to just put everything into speed for now, but once I hit 90, I'm going to boost Hands and Endurance. I want to be able to make some key catches as well.

I think I went super low in the draft, so mainly, it's just important to prove that I'm a steal and that I was ranked way too low. Beyond personal goals, I'd like to win a championship and some division titles with the Otters. It would be nice to be a champ!
(12-04-2018, 08:21 PM)Trautner Wrote:Were you surprised on when and where you were drafted? The Otters are a fantastic club, the GM knows me from the Vandals in PBE and was very patient and willing to compromise with me when I talked about my career goals. While the team is cool and I'm happy with that, I can say in full disclosure as I touched on earlier, that I was pretty upset with how late I was drafted, considering the pedigree I have in other leagues. I sort of had the expectation to go higher considering my SHL player went 2nd overall and my PBE player went 1st overall. Obviously I don't have 200 TPE because I joined late, but I'm always a max earner, and my latest update is a 50 TPE update so I'm definitely not as low as some of these rankings say.

I would say I'm a little disappointed with how things have gone so far; I felt like my DSFL team forgot about me, and I didn't even hear from all the NSFL teams. The draft is supposed to be the best time of a sim league career, but it was just a big letdown for me.

(12-04-2018, 08:42 PM)Fire-Bred Wrote:2.) Who is your favorite memberProbably my GM speculadora. We didn't really want the same thing immediately in terms of career path right now, but he was very professional and we worked it out without any hurt feelings.
(12-04-2018, 08:42 PM)Fire-Bred Wrote:3.) How was your draft night experience?Like I said in a similar question, it was pretty disappointing from my perspective. I didn't hear from half of the teams before, and solely because I was a late create, I fell a ton. I was overlooked in mocks too, part of the fun is seeing people debating where you will go beforehand. Later picks just don't matter as much as earlier picks, and that's the mentality I have to start my career with.
(12-04-2018, 08:42 PM)Fire-Bred Wrote:4.) Who do you plan on building your player after?I don't know that I'll be exactly like him, but I like the Atlanta Falcons so probably someone like Julio Jones. He's the fastest receiver to 10K yards, he's just a beast.

My game should benefit the Otters, I play with a lot of hustle and my style involves a lot of speed, grit, and tenacity. I'm going to bring the toughness and dedication of a hockey player to the field; nothing will keep me off the turf.
