'Tis the season - and also the pre-season!
During any preseason, there are bound to be some fun activities, pranks, and antics around the league. Plus, the S12 season overlaps with the Christmas and holiday season, so what team bonding activities do you think might be happening? Hm, anyone? Bueller?
Here are some hints: Tis the season for santa hats, twinkly lights, and indulgence. But in San Jose, sadly, there is no snow, no evergreens (okay, that's probably not true), and no reindeer. So what do we do? We improvise.
A few of the Luchadores' alumni decided to put together a piece for the inaugural SaberCats preseason talent show. Due to technical difficulties and an unwillingness to pay money for recording equipment to document their act, please click on the youtube link below and leave it running in the background while you peruse the accompanying photos from the event. Given San Jose isn't actually that far from Tijuana, the act was still very on-brand.

From L to R: Chad Pennington (@caltroit_red_flames), Kazmir Oles (@`To12143`), Xandra Troyski (yours truly), Xavier Flash (@Leafs4ever), and Ben Horne (@iseedoug)
Some Luchadore alumni banded together to bring some authentic Mexican Christmas festivity to the NSFL.
Ben Horne, Chad Pennington, Xavier Flash, and Kazmir Oles practice their stringed instrument skills, which they picked up on the streets of Tijuana while embracing the beautiful Mexican culture.
As the saying goes, Feliz Navidad, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc, etc, etc. A little early, but we've all got to get back to training. See you in S12.
P.S. Santa already promised us some wins.
P.P.S. Nax (TheSimFootballDog), the [unofficial] official support dog of the Tijuana Luchadores would like to wish you a Feliz Navidad, as well.
