Thank y'all for coming, I'm excited to be here and thrilled to be a part of the Central Grizzlies organisation for the upcoming prospect bowl. I am here to show everyone I have what it takes to be an elite player in the NSFL, and am anxiously looking forward to beginning my career in the DSFL. I will now be taking questions.

Is life like a box of choclates?
“I’ve heard that quote my whole life, and it’s always been a favourite of mine. My grandfather was wise in his own way, but way to often people try to say it makes no sense, ‘cause you can always turn the box over and look at what each chocolate is. Now obviously you can do that when you got a box of choclates, but I mean, you can spend your whole life at home trying to figure out the end result every decision you make. You wouldn’t do that though. Life would be boring as heck. Part of the fun of having a variety of choclates is the surprise of what flavour you get. Life’s like that, you gotta just grab every opportunity you can and make the most of it. Sometimes you get a flavour you hate, but there’s bound to be one just for you in there. So ya, like my great gramma always said, life is like a box of chocolates.”
Favorite dinosaur?
“Growing up in Alabama we had one of them VHS players. Never had any money troubles but Dad liked ‘em for some reason. His favourite franchise was those Land Before Time movies. I must’ve seen them dozens of times. I always liked Little Foot. He was brave when he needed to be and always looked out for his friends. Plus, them long necks look super cool. My high school teacher once told me that Little Foot was a Brontosaurus, and that those dinosaurs never actually existed. Even still, I always have to represent my main man Little Foot.”
What would be a benchmark of a good season for you?
“I’m not gonna tell you some garbage about breaking every record in the book on day one. Coming into this league is a process, and one I know I have to work hard at to succeed. Ultimately it comes down to how many opportunities I’m given. Any time I step on the field I’m looking for a house call, but the more touches I get the better for me. I like the old Gale Sayers quote, “Give me 18 inches of daylight, that’s all I need.” When I show I deserve the starting role and start getting starter touches, I’m looking to crack 1000 yards on the season, and I want at least 8 touchdowns to call it a great season. In a committee style running attack I’d be more focused on YPC, and I’m looking to keep that over 4.5 for the season at a minimum.”

What is the longest time you ran continuously for?
“There’s actually a funny story for this one. Back in high school, one of the other kick returners bet me he could beat me in a race to the house and started bragging about his cross-country experience. I said that no matter how long we ran I’d stay ahead of him. We started on the goal line, and then I started RUNNIN’! I ran the whole field, and then I kept running. I made my way past the coach’s office, off the campus, and kept runnin’. Billy followed me for a good 12 miles but never caught up to me. It started to rain right as I was getting home, but I kept runnin’ on by. After 18 hours, it was time for football practice again, so I had to stop.”
What NSFL or DSFL team has the coolest logo?
“My favourite NSFL logo I’ve seen is the Arizona Outlaws. I love me a good Western movie and am a big fan of the colour scheme. Overall it looks sharper to me than some of the other logos. As for DSFL logos, I like the San Antonio Marshals. He’s got a stern look about him, reminds me of a coach I had in middle school.”
What Prospect Bowl Team are you least excited to play against?
“Well we’re about to start our game against the team I’m the least excited about, the Blackbirds. I’m confident our Grizzlies will be able to take on any challenge thrown our way, but they got some big men on the defensive side of the ball. I can handle anyone, and I’m here to play every down I can, but that bruising linebacker corps is gonna leave me with a couple bruises tomorrow morning I reckon.”

Is there a team (DSFL or NSFL) that you want to play for?
“I am currently very open minded about where I want to end up. Looking into the immediate future, the DSFL team I’ve found that focuses on my favourite parts of football, a strong running game and a big bad defense, are the San Antonio Marshals. That being said, I want to go to a squad where I can be given a chance to be a starter from the get go. Any team that’s willing to give me that opportunity is the squad I want to play for. For this week though, the organisation I’m focused on is the Central Grizzlies.”
How many different ways can you prepare shrimp?
“The one thing nobody tells you about having a grandfather who starts a shrimpin’ company, is that during the summers, you have to work at the shrimping company. I have handled more shrimp in my life than any man ought to. Doesn’t mean shrimp ain’t still good though. I reckon I can prepare shrimp 32 different ways well, but my grandpa knew how to make over 100.”
