A low rumble radiates through a crowd of media members who have gathered at the Colorado Yeti facility; while the rest of the league turns its attention to the postseason, rookie defensive tackle Bubba Thumper has agreed to address the media. He taps the microphone in front of him, and a hush falls over the audience.
"Alright, y'all. Let's get started."

Nine tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, I really felt like I did my part. That's the performance I'm most proud of, for sure.

I think you might see the Yeti hoisting the Ultimus trophy in not too long. That's what I dream of at night.

They're putting in the same work I am, and I respect that. If people see me as the better player at the end of the day, that's extremely flattering, but if not, I'm happy to even be classed with them.

But I know some people from my time at the University of Tennessee who might be interested in being part of that group, so if they're interested in more voices, they know who to call.

So my pregame thing is preparing a meal for postgame. I like to make sure I have something good to come home to after a game, especially given how hungry I normally am by then.

I'm excited to have an opportunity to play with some of these talents, and I hope they're excited about the possibility of playing in Colorado.
(09-22-2019, 01:41 AM)bex Wrote:Do you have any fun planned for the off-season, or will you be focusing solely on the gridiron grind?I mean, I intend to take some time to keep exploring the food scene in Colorado. I had it figured out in Texas, but this state is a whole different ballgame.

She likes to call me in the middle of a game for some reason; I think maybe she has comments about how I'm playing, and forgets I can't answer because I'm, you know, on the football field.
(09-22-2019, 01:41 AM)bex Wrote:Who would you think has the most punchable face in the NSFL?You're asking me to go against my nature by even answering this question; despite the nature of this game, and particularly my position, I don't consider myself a violent person off the field. That said, the running back duo in Tijuana, Ducky and Chase.
