Since there's quite a few of these, and they're all very different, I'll try to keep these critiques/grades short and simple. I'll just say some things I like and things I don't like. I'll grade these in order from top to bottom.
(3/5 - $700k) The renders and text are really nice on this one. The colors blends nicely together, and you even made render edits for more than one render here, which is awesome! It looks like there was a little less editing/swaps on the renders further back, but it's still great work! My biggest problem with this sig is the background. I like all the colors, lights, etc in general, but it just doesn't feel like it fits with this sig. In my opinion, in kind of takes a lot away from the rest of the sig, drawing too much attention from everything else. Again, I like the idea as a whole, but not the background specifically for this sig. (5/5 - $1.5m) I like this one a lot! There's not really any issues that I notice with it. The only thing would be that only half of the Liberty logo is in the background, but that's more of a personal preference on my part. That jersey swap looks amazing, and the text is clean. I also like that border that you included on the sig. Really amazing work all around! (4/5 - $1m) This background is awesome! I really love seeing unique designs and styles being used in graphics, and this is definitely unique. The background actually serves a purpose and has a meaning in the sig. That's not something you see all the time. My only real problem with this is the "S19 DSFL MVP" text. It's not huge by itself, but it feels out of place and, as a result, other elements, such as the render, also look out of place. It just makes it look like that specific text was slapped on at the end wherever it would fit. (3/5 - $700k) Again, I like the border on this one. I like that it ties in with the overall style of sig, looking like it's burnt around the edges. I also like the text on this one. It adds a sense of depth to the sig. With the outline of the letters being a similar shade to the background, it looks like the text is extending out of the background, really cool! What really turns me away from this one though is the render. I like the choice for the render picture itself, but it feels kind of rushed with the editing. I like the fire effect, but the flame outline around the render is a little much, and it looks like it's covering the render in some spots. I love the overall design intent. A little more work would make this another really amazing sig! (3/5 - $700k) I feel like this one was probably really fun to make, lol. With non-football renders, a lot of the time, it can be difficult to have significant render work, but you definitely made it work here. And, although it's funny, it's actually pretty good work. Although, after the render, it gets a little crazy. There's a lot going on in this sig. Since there's so many different elements of the sig and so many different colors, it just doesn't blend very well. Great work all around though! Making this type of render work is really difficult, but you did it. Total Payout: $4,600,000 |
