Cal defensive end Troy Watson has announced today he has decided to declare for the DSFL draft, forgoing his senior season. Playing for three years since his true freshman season, he has rocked his stat sheet with 36 sacks and 6 forced fumbles. Weighing 270 pounds and measuring in at 6 foot 5 inches, he is a speed rusher projected to make a good transition into the developmentals from college. He excels in finesse moves, with a dangerous spin move and a decisive swim move. He has showed a lack of power in the bull rush, often being stopped by offensive linemen agile enough to beat his speed moves, however he has shown improvement in this area over his college career and displayed a more powerful bull rush during his junior season. This weakness was a primary point of contention in the discussion of whether or not he would declare for the draft, with many who thought he wouldn't declare suggesting he would return for his senior season to improve his power moves. Time on a DSFL team before playing in the ISFL is likely to help with this.

Personal Life
Watson, 21, grew up in San Francisco. He was raised by his mother and father and has 3 siblings, the next of which is a 3-star recruit high-school senior playing offensive tackle. His father was also a ISFL defensive end and instilled the importance of discipline and keeping yourself in shape in him from a young age. They are known to often work out together in their home gym. While they grew up a middle-class family, having four children led them to not always having a lot of spending money, potentially a motivation for Watson to declare for the draft a year early.
(if this is too shitty please let me know and ill write another lol)
