Week Eleven and Twelve
Agent Tesla: Hello and good time appropriate greeting everyone! We have a whole lot to cover today from the latest doubleheader and so we are going to get right into it. Sim Rep who represents the sim please take it away!
Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Norfolk Seawolves. Seawolves won 34 to 23. Offensive player of the game is running back Captain Rogers of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 16 rushing attempts for 108 yards, an average run of 6.8 yards, a long of 19 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 reception for 7 yards.
Agent Tesla: Rogers ran one in early for a touchdown off of a first and ten in the first quarter with their long 19 yard run. He really stepped it up in the fourth quarter though with an 11 yard run on the second play of the fourth quarter. Also added another 11 yard first and ten run on their next drive. A drive that would end with a 6 yard touchdown run by Rogers. Now for defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive tackle Sigismund Sternenstaub of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 3 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: What a lovely name! Sigismund's first sack of the day came on a second and two in the first quarter that they set back 7 yards to help lead to a punt at the end of the drive. Their second sack came on a first and ten in the third quarter and saw them again set the offense back 7 yards en route to a three and out. Also added a tackle at the line of scrimmage for good measure.
Now for game two of week eleven please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Myrtle Beach Buccaneers at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Buccaneers won 27 to 21. Offensive player of the game is running back 3' Jeffrey of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 19 rushing attempts for 79 yards, an average run of 4.2 yards, a long of 10 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 8 yards.
Agent Tesla: The first highlight of the day for Jeffrey would be their 8 yard reception on first and ten in the first quarter, and was a play they followed with two runs for positive yardage that got the team into the red zone. Jeffrey's first running highlight came in the third quarter on a second and goal that they converted with a 2 yard touchdown run. Second highlight of the game for them came on a second and ten in the fourth quarter that they converted into a first and goal opportunity with their long 10 yard run. Now tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Tyrone Woods of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 9 tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception.
Agent Tesla: I only have one highlight for Tyrone Woods, but in a one score game I am comfortable saying it was a key highlight for the team. First and ten in the fourth quarter and the Grey Ducks call a pass that Woods successfully sniffed out. What should have taken them over midfield instead saw Woods pick the ball off, although with a -3 yard return. Still a takeaway instead of a scoring drive was a huge contribution in the always important fourth quarter.
Game three of week eleven please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Kansas City Coyotes. Tijuana Luchadores won 34 to 21. Offensive player of the game is running back Crowbar Theeks of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 34 rushing attempts for 153 yards, an average run of 4.5 yards, a long of 19 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Opening drive of the game and Theeks had a stretch of four plays that I want to highlight as the first run was 11 yards, second run was 7 yards, third run was 8 yards, and fourth run was an 8 yard touchdown run. Just amazing to carry the team like that. Also added their long 19 yard run to convert a third and three in the second quarter. Now tell me about the defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Thomas Rose of the Kansas City Chiefs with a stat line of 9 tackles, 1 for loss, and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Rose's first highlight contribution was a tackle allowing 0 yards on a third and three in the third quarter to force a field goal attempt. They added a 7 yard sack on a first and ten in the fourth quarter that contributed to an ultimately failed fourth down attempt. Also played hard throughout the game as they provided the closing tackle of the game to earn this award.
Last game of week eleven please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Dallas Birddogs. Royals won 20 to 6. Offensive player of the game is running back Danny King of the London Royals with a stat line of 22 rushing attempts for 144 yards, an average run of 6.5 yards, a long of 19 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 6 yards.
Agent Tesla: I rarely highlight special teams without a kicker winning an award, but Danny King had a 23 yard kick return to open the game and I feel that contributed here. King also contributed an 11 yard run in the first quarter on a second and sixteen to make it a third and manageable. An important third and manageable as that drive would close out in the second quarter on a 5 yard touchdown run on first and goal by Danny King. The longest run of the day for King came in the third quarter and converted a second and four almost five times over with the 19 yard gain. Now for defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Hank Winchester of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 11 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Winchester's first tackle of the game was a stop at the line of scrimmage on a second and ten that would eventually lead to a field goal attempt. They also had an impressive stretch of plays in the second quarter where they were the tackler on three consecutive plays. Biggest play of the day for them though was a 6 yard sack on a first and ten in the third quarter that would lead to a short punt.
Time for the first game of week twelve please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at London Royals. Royals won 21 to 19. Offensive player of the game is running back Crowbar Theeks with a stat line of 25 rushing attempts for 132 yards, an average run of 5.3 yards, a long of 12 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 receptions for 8 yards, an average reception of 4 yards, and a long of 8 yards.
Agent Tesla: Crowbar has been consistent with how often I have written about them; I have to give them that! Their first two plays of the game were wonderful with a 10 yard run on the first to get a first down and their long 12 yard run on the second for a first down. Similar to that they had another back to back set at the end of the first quarter where they got a 10 yard run and followed it up with an 8 yard reception to open up another scoring drive. They finished off their day with a 6 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that closed the gap to just a single score. Tell us about defense now please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Bane Ka'ana'ana of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 3 tackles, 3 passes defended, and 2 interceptions.
Agent Tesla: Now that is the stat line you want to see your star cornerback have! First interception came in the first quarter on a second and eleven that saw them return it for 5 yards to put the team just outside of the red zone. Their second interception came in the third quarter on a third and ten; where they returned it 15 yards to once again set the team up just outside of the red zone.
Week twelve game two please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at Portland Pythons. Grey Ducks won 34 to 14. Offensive player of the game is running back Joseph Petrongolo of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 24 rushing attempts for 100 yards, an average run of 4.2 yards, a long of 11 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: Petrongolo did not get to touch the ball on the first drive, but proved why they should always get to with the second drive. They contributed runs of 7 yards, 5 yards, 6 yards, and finished it off with a 4 yard touchdown run for the first touchdown of the day. The first drive of the second quarter was much the same as Petrongolo ran it for 4 yards, 5 yards, 6 yards, 3 yards, and finally for a 5 yard touchdown. Only one drive where they got at least four touches ended in something worse than a field goal attempt and so they definitely earned this one. Now for defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Samuel L. Sackson Senior of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 12 tackles and 1 forced fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: No sacks for Sackson Senior, but a recovered forced fumble is better in my book. Their first highlight would have to be a normal tackle on a third and eight as they stopped the receiver five yards shy of the line to gain to force a punt. Another highlight worthy tackle they had came towards the end of the second quarter on first and ten that forced a field goal attempt that ultimately failed. Early in the third quarter on a second and ten Sackson Senior had their biggest play of the day though as they forced a fumble and recovered it for a 5 yard gain.
Game three of week twelve please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Seawolves won 21 to 20. Offensive player of the game is running back Captain Rogers of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 11 rushing attempts for 120 yards, an average run of 10.9 yards, a long of 67 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 receptions for 11 yards, an average reception of 3.7 yards, and a long of 7 yards.
Agent Tesla: Now I am reasonably confident there is going to be one epic highlight here, but I think there are a couple of other good plays worthy of a highlight reel here as well. Rogers had a 10 yard run on a second and two to help open up the second quarter. Longest play of the day came on a first and ten in the third quarter where Rogers ran for 67 yards before being tackled just outside the ten. One completed pass later and then Rogers ran it in for a 4 yard touchdown. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Brennan Kenedy of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 9 tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Brennan brought it this game it looks like! Kennedy had an interception towards the end of the first quarter that turned a first and ten for the Seawolves into a Buccaneers touchdown courtesy of a 41 yard return. They had the last tackle of the first half as well to keep Norfolk from being able to score on a first and ten. While not necessarily individually highlight worthy I will also comment they had four tackles on the final drive that made that score a difficult one for the Seawolves.
Now for the finale of the doubleheader please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Dallas Birddogs. Birddogs won 31 to 28. Offensive player of the game is running back Zoe Wats of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 23 rushing attempts for 110 yards, an average run of 4.8 yards, a long of 20 yards, and 3 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: Three touchdowns guarantees some solid highlights and Watts showed up early with a 3 yard touchdown run on a third and two in the first quarter. She scored her second touchdown of the day on a 7 yard run on a first and goal in the second quarter. Long play of the day for Watts was not a touchdown though, but was a good 20 yard run on second and six in the third quarter that set up a touchdown. Last big play of the day for Watts was a 3 yard touchdown run on first and goal in the fourth quarter. Please tell us about defense now Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Sean Reynolds of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 10 tackles and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Reynolds big play of the day came on a first and ten in the third quarter where they scooped up a fumble that was forced by Tate at the Kansas City twenty-two yard line. Saved what would have otherwise been a likely score by the Birddogs and also helped lead to a touchdown that gave the Coyotes the lead going into the fourth quarter.
Week Thirteen
Agent Tesla: Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! This has been delayed a bit more than I would like and so we are just going to jump right into it. Sim Rep game one of week thirteen please!
Sim Rep: Game Dallas Birddogs at Norfolk Seawolves. Seawolves won 23 to 7. Offensive player of the game is running back Quanter Skrills of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 26 rushing attempts for 118 yards, an average run of 4.5 yards, a long of 12 yards, 2 receptions for 13 yards, an average reception of 6.5 yards, and a long of 7 yards.
Agent Tesla: Yards are key and Quanter had plenty of them. Quanter's first long run came in the second quarter where they converted a first and five with an 11 yard run. After an incomplete pass on the next play they followed it up with an 11 yard run, and then a 12 yard run after that! Skrills also contributed a 7 yard receptio on a third and four towards the end of the half to put the team in field goal range. Now for defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Ryan Scott of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 7 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: Scott got off to a hot start it seems as their first sack came on a first and ten on Dallas' second drive of the day and set them back 9 yards. He also added a tackle on the following play that helped contribute to a three and out. Ryan's second sack came on a first and fifteen after a delay of game towards the end of the first quarter where he set the offense back 6 yards. Once again he followed this play up a bit later in the drive with a tackle on third and three that forced a punt.
Now take us to game two please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Grey Ducks won 24 to 18. Offensive player of the game is running back Zed Keppler of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 19 rushing attempts for 78 yards, an average run of 4.1 yards, a long of 10 yards, 3 receptions for 26 yards, an average reception of 8.7 yards, and a long of 15 yards.
Agent Tesla: Another balanced approach by a running back and you love to see it! Zedd's very first play of the game was an 8 yard run to convert a third and seven. Second play of the day was a 10 yard run on second and eight. Keppler converted another third down early in the second quarter as they ran it 10 yards on a third and five. Also had their long play of the day in the second quarter where they caught a 15 yard pass to convert a third and ten. Clutch third down plays won them the award this time. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive end Azarius Ranger of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 2 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: First off that is an excellent name and second it seems it will be easy to find the highlights for Ranger since that is all the provided! Clutch on third down just the same as offense Ranger's first sack came on a third and eight and sent them back 11 yards which also took them out of field goal range. Ranger's second sack of the day came in the third quarter and set the offense back 7 yards on a third and eight to force a punt. Third down is a key down and that is where the day was won for Minnesota.
Game three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at London Royals. Royals won 28 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Danny King of the London Royals with a stat line of 19 rushing attempts for 128 yards, an average run of 6.7 yards, a long of 62 yards, and 3 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: King kicked it up a notch this game and definitely deserves this award on stat line alone. King's first touchdown of the day was a 1 yard run in the first quarter on second and goal. Second of the day for King came in the third quarter on a second and three that King ran in from 5 yards out. Best play of the day though was halfway through the third quarter after he got a thirteen yard punt return; King ran it 62 yards into the end zone on a first and ten. Danny was the drive on that one. Now tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Juan Domine of the London Royals with a stat line of 14 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 pass defended.
Agent Tesla: Juan Domine is a name I am getting quite familiar with and so I am not surprised to see them again. Domine's first highlight came in the third quarter where they stopped a second and ten run after just three yards to get a third and long that would not be converted. However their biggest play of the day was a 6 yard sack on a first and fifteen towards the end of the third quarter. A play they followed up with by making the tackle after just five yards on the second and twenty-one play. Then they finished up by killing the drive almost by themselves as they broke up a pass on third and sixteen to force the punt.
Now for the final game of week thirteen please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Myrtle Beach Buccaneers at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 24 to 3. Offensive player of the game is running back Crowbar Theeks of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 28 rushing attempts for 124 yards, an average run of 4.4 yards, a long of 17 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 reception for 2 yards.
Agent Tesla: Another name I am used to seeing good job Crowbar! Theeks' longest play of the day came early as they converted a first and ten in the first quarter with a 17 yard run. Just a couple plays later they turned that drive into point by running it in 3 yards on first and goal. Crowbar proved their consistency late in the first quarter when they ran it five times in a row for 5 yards, 13 yards, 5 yards, 8 yards, and then 4 yards for a total of 35 yards on five plays. Just for fun they followed that up with their 2 yard reception on second and six. They also added a 1 yard touchdown run on first and goal in the third quarter. Defense one more time please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Adam Schell of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 8 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: An early start for Schell as they had the first tackle of the game that helped lead to a three and out. A more highlight worthy play in the first quarter though was their tackle on third and ten short of the line to gain to close out another three and out. Big play of the day for Schell came on a fourth and two in the second quarter where Schell made the tackle at the line of scrimmage to get a turnover on downs. Adam's first sack of the day was also in the second quarter where they turned a second and six into a third and thirteen to help cause a three and out. Schell's second sack of the day was for 7 yards on a third and seven to finish off a three and out by forcing a punt.
