Right. Putting the explanation here cause this side needed like 3 more words but I just had to have a break from writing so I've split this into two parts. I feel I covered the kickers in the first part in a fair bit of depth but there is a lot of kickers to go that have made great kicks so from this point on I won't cover as many kicks in depth and only pull out some things that stand out to me more than the others. Might have a closer look at some of the players in the league active still too, but this part will finish off my look into every kicker with match changing kicks and even some with none.
Blewitt, I. - 5/6 - 83%
Two overtime kicks here that are actually fascinating. These two kicks happened with twenty six and eighteen seconds, which was a 54 yard kick, left in overtime. Most times you see these kicks happen towards the start. That kick was successful but unfortunately for Blewitt, with the kick against Philly with twenty six seconds left in overtime he...blew it. No good and the game ends tied.
Crisco, A. - 5/8 - 63%
Crisco, gifted almost as many opportunities as anyone else but just couldn't make them count unfortunately. The ones he did make count though were two over time games.
Four kicks and four winners from the Leg! Seriously look how great these kicks are. Literally the reason his team won the game with these four kicks.
Over time kicks are my favourite by a long way and Harris Jr. has two of them. My other favourite thing is a kick to send it to over time and then to win it with another field goal in the fifth and that is what we got here.
Every now and then you find a player that just loves to play against a certain team. That was Harris and Yellowknife. Way back in the history of the league in seasons 4 and 6 we had a few situations between these two.
Matty!! This man has taught me everything I know about kicking and GMing in this league as I keep following in his footsteps. Not creepy I swear. Maybe though I could teach him a thing or two about nailing kicks in clutch situations because McDairmid is only 4/5.
This is too good. Some people just are constantly in big moment and one of those people is Meoff. In their four kicks they made, three of them were walk offs in overtime including a 53 yard kick way back in season 11 to beat Baltimore. Walk out, nail this kick and then was heard saying to "Get me off this field!"
Forfeit, N. - 4/5 - 80%
Not a whole heap here that stands out. All the makes are from mid range really. The one hard kick they had from 45 yards ended up in a miss which kept the game tied.
Madlad, B. - 3/3 - 100%
A similar story here. No kicks from a great distance but you can only kick what you are asked two and the mad lad kicks three from three and put Orange County ahead on all three occasions.
Dasistwirklichseinnachname, A. (S15) - 3/3 - 100%
The best kick that Dasistwirklichseinnachname made was in season 24 against the Wraiths. A 39 yard kick but in over time to give the win to the Otters.
Two of the three from Lombardi are winners here.
Here is a kick we love coming down to the wire with twelve seconds remaining but also in over time and then Brand nails a field goal from 52 yards out! You just love to see it.
McCormick, M. - 3/3 - 100%
Back again getting to talk about one of my favourite happenings, a kick to tie it up and a second kick to win in overtime. This one is a little different as the over time kick happened real late.
As a kicker I really would just prefer to ignore missed kicks and pretend they didn't happen.
Fencik is the new kicker for the Philadelphia Liberty and already in one season has two kicks we are able to put down on the list. Nothing from a great length but you can only kick what is given to you.
Powers I expected to be a bit higher up the list but as we say you can only kick the kicks you are given. Her team has just not gotten her into a position to be kicking match winning goals. Hopefully for her that just means they are winning comfortably and she is just sipping Mai Tais on the sideline.
Another one of these close heartbreaking games against my Berlin team. Kokot kicks a short yardage field goal against the Fire Salamanders with twenty six seconds left on the clock and the Wraiths win by 3. Good for them to finally get on the right side of some of these.
Small, J. (S22) - 1/1 - 100%
Only one kick for Small but it was an over time 26 yard dagger to the heart of San Jose. Get it done and win 20-17.
Sidekick, S. (S22) - 1/1 - 100%
Sidekick? More like the main man when it was Chicago against Philly. He stepped up and kicks a 33 yard field goal to butcher the bells.
Louis, L. (S21) - 1/1 - 100%
I always love when a kick goes from a losing to a winning position and we just leave ties out of it. More risk in the miss, more joy in the hit and that is what happened here when Louis hit a 42 yard field goal against Sarasota a few seasons back and ended up winning the game for Philadelphia 24-23.
Jay-Jaymison, J. (S21) - 1/1 - 100%
Quite a few minutes left on the clock here for Jay-Jaymison but he went out and kicked that 24 yard field goal to put the Outlaws ahead of the Sabercats in season 25.
Espinosa, D. - 1/1 - 100%
Pretty run of the mill here. Kick from 26 yards out with almost four minutes left on the clock and only to tie it up.
Frost, A. - 1/1 - 100%
Twenty three yards out, you just have to nail it and Frost does here. Fourteen seconds left in regulation and this kick tied it all up sending it to over time.
Ronaldo, C. - 1/1 - 100%
With a 22 yard kick it would be a shocker if it wasn't kicked.
Clutch, C. - 1/1 - 100%
Clutch in name, clutch by nature. When there is fourteen seconds on the clock and you are tied and 42 yards out, this is the man you want on your team.
Kicksit, B. - 1/1 - 100%
This one from Kicksit was a bloody beauty. One minute forty five left on the clock but while down 10 to 12 he steps up and drills a 57 yard kick to go up by one point. You just love to see it.
Frost, B. - 1/1 - 100%
This Frost is better than the one a bit further on. Nailed their kick from 30 yards out to tie the game up with a minute and a half to play.
PhastBawls, D. (S23) - 1/2 - 50%
Hit a kick from 36 yards to put Baltimore ahead and win the game in season 25.
Two weeks later though the hero becomes the villain when he missed a 32 yard kick while tied in overtime.
Bobby, K. - 1/2 - 50%
Nailed a kick from 35 with seconds to go to win the game against Baltimore.
Missed from 50 but in a similar situation time wise. Lost.
QB, P (S22) - 0
No kicks attempted. Only on the leaderboard with a 0 because they are an active player in the league.
Right down the bottom here we have some kickers that didn't make the other list. They didn't make any of the kicks that fit this category but they attempted some so we are definitely going to talk about these lads. You can't just get away with not being talked about cause you are bad at your job and you can't kick when the pressure is on.
Frost, K. - 0/1 - 0%
Frost sux lmap.
Unlike the others to miss all their kicks Laces didn't have the easiest chance. He never got a short kick from 21 yards and his only attempt was from 52. This kick was while 3 points down at the end of regulation though so would have sent the game to overtime. Couldn't get it down though so will always have this special spot in the history books.
Corbett, K. - 0/3 - 0%
Corbett might be like an automatic car cause there is no clutch here. He had three shots over his career in tense game situations. All three times his team was three points behind so had the opportunity to tie it up and all three times he missed, although he only really got one absolute sitter. Two of these kicks weren't easy.
Favourite Kick?
Now that I have gotten to the end of this over the course of a few days, I've been thinking what my favourite kick is of all of these I've been looking at. I think it might be this one:
I. Blewitt, did just the opposite of blowing it when his Sabercats played the Yellowknife Wraiths all the way back in season 3. This one went to overtime and even within the extra time it went right down to the wire with Blewitt kicking a 54 yard field goal with just eighteen seconds remaining on the clock at the snap. San Jose ends up winning the game 31 to 28. I've looked very closely and even though that one happened 23 seasons ago now I just don't think it has been beaten since.
So there we go. This has been my somewhat in depth look at kickers and their clutchness. I would love to see this stat get added to official league records and maybe this can go a bit of the way to us making this happen.
I said at the start but once again a huge thanks to Infinite for sorting me out with the information. It was a huge help to be able to find what I needed as quickly as I could or I'd be watching youtube videos from season 7 right now. If you actually made it this far thank you very much for reading. Very appreciated. Maybe send me a picture of a puppy or something or I won't believe someone actually made it this far.
Blewitt, I. - 5/6 - 83%

Most times you see these kicks happen towards the start. That kick was successful but unfortunately for Blewitt, with the kick against Philly with twenty six seconds left in overtime he...blew it. Crisco, A. - 5/8 - 63%
Crisco, gifted almost as many opportunities as anyone else but just couldn't make them count unfortunately. The ones he did make count though were two over time games.
- One of these kicks was in season 19 against the Wraits and kicked a 39 yarder to win the game.
- The other overtime kick was just gone in season 24 against Orange County with a kick from 46 yards which is nothing to sneeze at.
- The three misses were all from a decent distance really. Season 20 had a kick with mere seconds to go while only down two points to Colorado but missed from 41 yards. The other two kicks that were missed though were from 55 and 50 yards. These two kicks also were with just a few seconds left in the game and would have won the games for Austin.
Four kicks and four winners from the Leg! Seriously look how great these kicks are. Literally the reason his team won the game with these four kicks.
- 41 yarder with thirteen seconds left.
- 38 yarder in overtime.
- 57 yarder with fifteen seconds left.
- 46 yarder with ten seconds left.
Over time kicks are my favourite by a long way and Harris Jr. has two of them. My other favourite thing is a kick to send it to over time and then to win it with another field goal in the fifth and that is what we got here.
- Unfortunately for the offence they couldn't punch it in and Harris was left to kick an 18 yard field goal to tie the game up. Once they got to over time though there was a slightly more difficult kick for Harris as he kicked a 36 yard kick against Philadelphia back in season 16 to walk off.
- The other over time win came a few seasons later against Baltimore and this kick was from 47 yards.
Every now and then you find a player that just loves to play against a certain team. That was Harris and Yellowknife. Way back in the history of the league in seasons 4 and 6 we had a few situations between these two.
- Season 4 and Harris kicked a 41 yard field goal to go up against the Wraiths with bugger all time left to win the game.
- Later that same season they kicked a goal to tie it up with not much time left
- And then again in season 6 when these two played each other Harris got a chip shot to hit a 19 yard attempt to again go up and win the game for Philly.
Matty!! This man has taught me everything I know about kicking and GMing in this league as I keep following in his footsteps. Not creepy I swear. Maybe though I could teach him a thing or two about nailing kicks in clutch situations because McDairmid is only 4/5.
- The one miss that McDairmid does have is on his longest kick that was a 49 yard attempt against Sarasota. Wasn't the end of the world though as the miss just send the game to over time.
This is too good. Some people just are constantly in big moment and one of those people is Meoff. In their four kicks they made, three of them were walk offs in overtime including a 53 yard kick way back in season 11 to beat Baltimore. - A season later he kicks a 29 yard attempt with twenty seven seconds left on the clock to win 26-23
- The first kick we will talk about comes with twenty one seconds to go in regulation and McCormick kicks goals from 33 yards out. This ties the game up for over time.
- Funnily enough, similar to the kick we just talked about with Brand, McCormick had a kick in the last minute of overtime also but only from 28 yards. Still kicked it and won the game for Colorado. What a great few minutes for McCormick. Stands up and delivers.
As a kicker I really would just prefer to ignore missed kicks and pretend they didn't happen.
- One point behind though with twenty two seconds left on the clock and you miss from 27 yards out? Yeah that's not great. Definitely should have been kicked there.
- In better kicks though for Anderson, in their second ever game they kicked a 48 yard field goal with just over a minute left to tie it all up.
- The season after they got to drill a 56 yard kick with nine seconds left to beat the Wraiths. The Wraiths seem to be featuring a lot in this piece as people kicking great goals against them.
- Later that same season they got another winner with twenty seven seconds left against San Jose but this one was only from 18 yards.
Fencik is the new kicker for the Philadelphia Liberty and already in one season has two kicks we are able to put down on the list. Nothing from a great length but you can only kick what is given to you.
- In his second ever game against Austin he kicked a 32 yard field goal. Can't ask for a much better start to the league really. Just lovely stuff.
- Kinda like a mirror, in the second last game of the season we had an over time kick against my own Fire Salamanders from 23 yards out to win the game. Heartbreaking.
Powers I expected to be a bit higher up the list but as we say you can only kick the kicks you are given. Her team has just not gotten her into a position to be kicking match winning goals. Hopefully for her that just means they are winning comfortably and she is just sipping Mai Tais on the sideline.
- The two kicks she has had are both from short yardage but she kicked both with no problems, as we would expect from the games best kicker.
Another one of these close heartbreaking games against my Berlin team. Kokot kicks a short yardage field goal against the Fire Salamanders with twenty six seconds left on the clock and the Wraiths win by 3. Good for them to finally get on the right side of some of these.

- No really this might be one of the worst kicks in the history of the ISFL. Playing for Philly you travel to Yellowknife in season 16. You take the game to overtime and your team drives all the way down the field and stopped just short giving you a 21 yard attempt at field goal. Kick the ball 21 yards through the posts and you win the bloody football game and you god damn choke. You just gotta get this kick done in that spot.
Unlike the others to miss all their kicks Laces didn't have the easiest chance. He never got a short kick from 21 yards and his only attempt was from 52. All three times his team was three points behind so had the opportunity to tie it up and all three times he missed, although he only really got one absolute sitter. Two of these kicks weren't easy.
- In season 11, with eighty four seconds left on the clock Corbett attempted a 53 yard field goal which was no good.
- In season 14 this was one that should have been kicked. Three yards out so he had to attempt a 21 yard field goal with a touch over three minutes remaining. Even at this range he could not get it done.
- Later that same season, seven weeks later in week 13 he had another attempt from 51 yards with twenty five seconds remaining and also could not get the job done and tie this game up.
