Ladies and Gentleman the long awaited arrival of Dustin Parmelee into the ISFL has finally occurred! See, the position that Dustin covets is that of the quarterback. There has been discussions or shall we say rumors that QB's were NOT in very high demand within the ISFL league parameters as that position has a lot of great earners and players already. This did not deter DP who has had what some would call a controversial past, another reason why so many advised DP, that if he wanted to play quarterback, then it would probably have to be in another league. Dustin took exception to this. With a chip on his shoulder h would tell any one that would listen, he wanted to play in the league with the best, most premier QB play, because that would be a true test to his ability. So for the last few months Dustin Parmelee has been working out at the U with his college mates from The Ohio University, big blue sucks, GO BUCKS! Is something most of you probably have heard coming out of the mouth of the quarterback himself. Dustin has a lot of passion when it comes to playing football, and even more when it comes to winning. As far back as Pop Warner ball, the name Dustin Parmelee has been synonymous with winning. He won a championship in pop warner, in modified, and in high school school, as his team went on to win the NY AAAA State Championship 3 of the 4 years that he started at the QB position. By the time he was a senior in high school, this talented young man was playing two ways, throwing touch down passes on one side of the ball, and intercepting the opposing QBs on the other. At Ohio State, Dustin began to hone in on his throwing skills, and improving his already above average mobility tools. He can run like a corner, high like a line backer, and throwing like Patrick Maholmes. He gets very little credit for his work ethic however, because he is a very reserved and private kid, and doesnt like to look flashing when in front of the cameras. That was until about his Junior year. Thats when he started realizing the true and real effects he had on the university and their overall revenue. He decided if he was going to make this school a lot of money, then he was going to start making a name for himself. Thats when Dustin channeled his inner Prime Time and started to become a loud, fun-loving kid, who was ALWAYS smiling and trying to entertain the fans and teammates alike. He started to flirt with touch down dances, and skits. They sometimes got quite elaborated, to the point where Dustin Parmelee was causing the Buckeyes to rack up penalties and penalty yards. Of course these penalties only occurred after touchdowns so the penalties were assessed on the extra point or on kick offs. During his last year at Ohio State, Dustin was able to convince his coach to let his star QB and Heisman Hopeful quarter back go both ways and played cornerback. While playing both ways, the Buckeyes margin of victory started to increase, as Dustin showed off his lockdown corner skills and abilities while locking up some of the best wide receivers in the country to pedestrian numbers. Dustin understands when he gets on the field for Tijuana that his two way days will be completely over, as he will lock into quarterback so he can become the greatest pigskin tosser this spot has ever laid their eyes on. When asked what drives him on a daily basis, he replied, Greatness. Im destined for it. I was born to toss a pigskin. I will do everything I can do display my abilities. I wont be holding clipboards forever, and thats just a fair warning not only for my teammates, but for the rest of the league as well. After i get done wrecking the minors, the pros will get a taste of the real Prime Time.
