In a small residential area in the eastern part of Philadelphia, Tsuyu Asui lives in a big 2 story house with a basement full of her football accomplishments. She is currently jogging on her treadmill in her workout room with windows looking out to the nearby street when her cell phone rings. She turns off her treadmill and grabs her sweat towel around her shoulders as she goes to grab her phone and sees that Jimi DeSoto is calling her.
"Hey Jimi!" She says cheerfully as she answers the phone "I was just jogging on my treadmill trying to shake off this nagging sore knee I got"
"Hey Tsuyu is it an injury or..." he responds a bit nervously.
"Nah. They x-rayed it and there is no injury it is just sore." She takes a drink of water and goes to sit down "so what's up? Why are you calling me all of the sudden?"
"Well other then seeing into it briefly before our vacation I never actually really been into your house so I am coming over if that is ok"
"Sure! I cleaned a lot of it yesterday, but the basement might be a bit dirty so we might avoid that if you would be bothered by dust"
"Nah I won't." He responds "I'll be over in about two hours so you can get ready"
"Sure! I'll be ready in about an hour. See you when you get here" She hangs up and goes to take a shower and get ready. She outs on a short sleeve shirt with a frog on it and some nice jeans and some frog slippers. She messed with her hair a bit before she turns on the TV and wants for Jimi to get there. She eventually hears the doorbell and opens it to see Jimi in a button shirt and jeans "Hey glad you are here!" She cheerfully says as she let's him in
"Glad to be here Tsuyu!" Jimi says as he looks around "Hmm you seem to have brought some comforts of home here." He notes as he sees the Japanese flag right next to the American one over her living room
"Well I guess I am patriotic in one way at the very least" She giggles a bit before motioning to the fridge "help yourself to everything but the jello and the Dr.Pepper they are both mine alone"
"I got you thanks" he notices some Japanese drinks that are with her American ones "are these imported?"
"Actually no." She smiles "I got them from a shop not to far from here that sells foreign food. The owners actually speak Japanese as well so that is great!"
"Oh that is great." Jimi says as he grabs some Japanese soda to try out "so what happened in the new rule appeal you filed?" He noticed that Tsuyu's mood instantly soured so he got the answer before she said it
"Denied." She says, annoyed "they are talking about limiting some more superhumans in this league, but it is still extremely annoying"
"I can see why that is annoying to you" he say as he drinks some of the soda then smacks his lips a bit "this tastes...fruity."
"Oh that is fruit punch so that is to be expected- Hey where are you going?" She asks he starts to head into the basement "it is very dirty down there"
"Oh I don't care about the dust Froppy don't worry" he goes down there and sees tons of Tsuyu's old uniforms from both her hero work and her football career. He also sees tons of pictures from her life and her career including a Philadelphia team one taken not too long ago "wow this place looks great! Did you set this all up yourself?"
"Well me and the movers when I moved into here" she smiles as she reminisces a bit "every time I get a cool physical memory it goes down here. It is very comforting to come down here with some tea and just relax and think about how far I have come"
"How often do you come down here?" He asks as he looks at her and sees that she has a far away look on her face
"Quite a bit." She smiles "I just like relaxing down here with a good book"
"I see. It does seem extremely relaxing here." He then notices a photo of her UA hero class "do you still keep in contact with all of them?"
"Yes actually!" She smiles big "I call them a lot and they sometimes visit the house when they can make the very long trip from Tokyo to Philadelphia. As a person who often makes long plane trips, I can tell you that is not a fun trip to make. Especially with a few of them usually being sick by the time they get hete."
"I see. How was your first trip yo America by the way?"
"Tiring and I was sick by the time it was over. I remember getting sick in a gas station in Kentucky." She cringes a bit at the memory
"But I guess you got used to it like I did huh" Jimi smiles then they both head upstairs as his stomach starts rumbling "Hey if you do not mind can you make me something to eat? I wasn't able to grab anything on the way."
"Oh absolutely! Time for some ramen!" As she gets started on it rain starts to come in and her smile gets bigger "ahhh I love the sound of calm rain. It is just relaxing I don't even mind getting wet:
"Well I cannot agree with you on the wet part" Jimi chuckles as he listens to the rain and relaxed a bit "weatherman says there was a chance for rain but no storms thankfully"
"Yeah I actually do not like storms" she admits as she continues on the ramen "it doesn't help that thunder usually stressea me out ever since the power went out at 2 am one time"
"That must not have been fun" he says. "How long on the ramen?"
"About an hour" she smiles "and we can just relax and enjoy each other's company before you leave" She smiles as she continues cooking, very glad to be enjoying time with a very good friend.
