Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here and this is the final part of the Worst ISFL Records From every season. This has been quite an interesting experience of awful quarterback play, bad defenses, and overall just horrible luck. After all, isn't luck just what the sim amounts to in the end? Just like the previous two entries, we will go over every team who had the worst win-loss Record from the final few seasons we have here. We will go over two teams if there is any kind of tie. We will also go over the quarterback play from these teams and any other interesting facts from these teams.
If you want to get caught up, here are the previous two entries in this series:
Part 1
Part 2
So now that we have all the requirements in mind, without any further ado let's begin with season 23:
Season 23: Chicago Butchers at 3-13
Well thier offense is better then last season, but you could argue thier defense might be worse. They had 214 points for and 407 points against and thier worst loss was week 3 against the Yellowkinfe Wraiths in a 54-0 shutout. Thier quarterback O'Donnell had 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and was third from last in passing yards. In case you were wondering, the San Jose Sabercats quarterback Jack had the least amount of passing yards and San Jose had 5 wins and the Second worst record this season.
Season 24: a TIE Between the Philadelphia Liberty and the Baltimore Hawks at 3-13
Wow my phone is now just auto recommending me the names of these two teams that have appeared so much in this series. And yes I do use my phone to do media, don't judge. Baltimore had 320 points for and Philadelphia had 29p points for and they had the same amount of points against at 440. The Hawks had a better home record but were winless on the road unlike Philadelphia who had one road win against the Yellowkinfe Wraiths. Fujiwara for the Hawks actually had an OK year all things considered with 22 touchdowns and 17 interceptions and the Second least amount of passing yards. Phoenix for the Liberty had 15 touchdowns and 13 interceptions and the fourth least amount of passing yards.
Season 25: Berlin Fire Salamanders at 3-13
Can't give a brand new expansion team too much grief to be honest with you. Yes, along with the New York Silverbacks who were 4-12 the Fire Salamanders were the new expansion teams and with that came the usual expansion woes. They had 322 points for and 465 points against which might actually be better then quite a few of teams in this series. Thier quarterback Nick Kapercolin had the least amount of passing yards and an even 21 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. Basically they went through the usual tough first season of expansion teams and would eventually prove to be a very successful organization along with thier New York counterpart.
Season 26: Honolulu Hahalua at 3-13
This one is a bit surprising to me, because I thought that Honolulu would be better by this season. With 381 points for and 523 points against, they had the worst defense in the league in terms of preventing scores. Which, now that I think about it, is the entire point of defense so yeah they had the worst defense. Only the New York Silverbacks scored less then 20 points against them so you get the picture, and even then they scored 19. Thier quarterback Skywalker was in the middle of the pack or so in terms of passing yards with 21 touchdowns to 14 interceptions. Seems like a decent offense let down a lot by a very rough defense in the end.
Season 27: Baltimore Hawks at 0-16
Time for another winless season, and this was the result of a lot of drama leading to a major meltdown that would take a lot of time that I don't have to explain. They had 218 points for and a really horrible 618 points against, which means I must give Honolulu from last season a big apology. They were shutout twice, once against the New York Silverbacks and another time against the Butchers. Skywalker, who went from one bad defense last season to an even worse defense in this season, had 28 touchdowns to 14 interceptions but had the fourth least amount of passing yards.
Season 28: Baltimore Hawks at 2-14
Hey 2 more wins is an improvement for them at the very least. They had 322 points for and 559 points against which means that they still had a pretty bad defense. The only two wins they had were against the Butchers and what had to be a major upset against the 10-6 Sarasota Sailfish. Skywalker's stats seems to have taken a bit of a tumble with an even 18 touchdowns to 18 interceptions. All in all it was small improvements on what was still a pretty bad Baltimore team.
Season 29: a TIE Between the Honolulu Hahalua and the Baltimore Hawks
We have yet another tie here, and honestly in terms of points the Hahalua seems to be a better team. Honolulu had 348 points for and 471 points against and Baltimore had 269 points for and 521 points against. Unfortunately, nether team played each other that season. Honolulu quarterback Joliet Christ Jr had the 3rd least amount of passing yards among QBs and 18 touchdowns to 13 interceptions while Baltimore quarterback Skywalker gad the least amount of passing yards and 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. I say "among quarterbacks" because a Kicker named T.Pete threw one pass for zero yards for whatever reason, so good for him I guess?
Season 30: TIE between the Baltimore Hawks and the San Jose Sabercats at 4-12. The Philadelphia Liberty also were 4-12 but honestly this series is long enough without a three-way tie.
Another tie here, and the Sabercats are back in this series. San Jose had 422 points for and 489 points against and only had one road win while the Hawks had 304 points for and 413 points against and only had one home win. Unfortunately, this is another example of two tied teams not playing each other in this series. The San Jose Quarterback Jack had the fifth least amount of passing yards with 25 touchdowns to 15 interceptions. The Baltimore Hawks quarterback Jaroppolo Jr had the least amount of passing yards and 21 passing yards and 9 interceptions in his rookie year.
Season 31: TIE between the Orange County Otters and the Baltimore Hawks at 4-12
Yet another tie. That is three ties in a row, and the 5th straight Baltimore appearance. OCO had 315 points for and 455 points against while the Hawks had 375 points for and 544 points against, meaning the Hawks had a pretty bad defense. They did not play each other, before you ask. The OCO quarterback Ramza had the second least amount of passing yards and 14 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. The Baltimore Hawks quarterback Jaroppolo Jr actually had the second most amount of passing yards with 30 touchdowns, but also had 23 interceptions as they were yeeting it a lot.
Season 32: Orange County Otters at 3-13
Finally, not a tie! And the Hawks worst record streak is officially over, and Baltimore actually had 5 wins ironically. OCO had 277 points for and 446 points against, meaning they had the worst offense in this regard. Ramza had the least amount of passing yards and 15 touchdowns to 16 interceptions. The most points they scored in a game was 33 in a 33-38 loss against the Sabercats, and the least amount of points they scored were 9 against the Austin Copperheads in a 9-26 loss. Big fall from a former dynasty.
Season 33: New Orleans Second Line at 3-13
I don't remember if NOLA have appeared before in this series, but I am too tired to check. They had 362 points for and 447 points against. Thier worst loss was against the Arizona Outlaws in a 45-9 butt whoopping. The NOLA quarterback ReallyInvisible had the least amount of passing yards and 15 touchdowns to 9 interceptions, so they were not really yeeting the ball that much that season. Not much more to say about this season for NOLA, it was just bad.
Season 34: the Colorado Yeti at 2-14
Hey Colorado, welcome back to the series! With 422 points for and 556 points against, they actually had a good offense let down by a bad defense. They had a win at home and on the road each. And this is quite a crazy stat, and I don't know how it is even possible, the Colorado Yeti quarterback LaughLove had the most amount of passing yards and a lot of touchdowns with 39. Then again, they also had a lot of interceptions with 18 which were the third most in the league. Just so you know, the Sabercats quarterback Mckyle had the most amount of interceptions with 25. Honestly this team was just unlucky and lost a LOT of close games. This is where the Yeeti were yeeting the most.
And finally, we have this past season:
Season 35: the Colorado Yeti at 3-13
Kind of appropriate that the Yeti are the team to end this series. They had 399 points for and 585 points against, which means that the defense is still rough for them. They were also winless on the road. The Yeeti were still yeeting with LaughLove having the most amount of passing yards and 32 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. I just wish that it helped my fantasy team more, aheh. I think their losses were less close then last season, but I am not 100% sure.
And we are done! 35 seasons of painful failure and we have gotten through it all. I put a lot of work into this, and I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you all on the field!
Also the Sarasota Sailfish have never had the worst record I believe. Make of that what you will.
