Hello ISFL! Welcome back to another induction into the hall of fame, this time featuring the class of S37. I know this is weird time for posting as we just had the S38 induction on the awards stream but this post never came out, that one is on it's way. Apologies for the delay but I hope you're enjoying the new process and enjoy this new induction post! If you would like to see the video induction please check out this link which will bring you directly to the Hall of Fame portion of the S37 Awards show!
As a quick summary, in order to be inducted into the Hall of Fame a player needs to be voted in by 2/3 of voters - if they receive 1/3 of the votes they will stay on the ballot for the next season.
As was passed in the S23 Rules Summit, we have formed a Hall of Fame Committee! The committee this season was made up of Infinitempg, Woelkers, Baron1898, JuOSu, manicmav36, nunccoepi, NicholasTheGreat, Kotasa, and Modern_Duke!
With these nine, our requirements are 6 votes to be inducted and 3 votes to stay on the ballot.
Note: As was noted in the S29 Open Newsletter, the general user base can now nominate players, general managers, and user contributors for consideration or re-consideration to the Hall of Fame! Publicly-submitted nominees must be sponsored by a HOF Committee member to be entered into the voting process. You can click HERE to nominate someone for consideration to the S34 ballot. Any players/general managers/user contributors that make it to the ballot via this method will be denoted with a †. As an additional note, players will still have to receive approval from half of the committee after being sponsored by a committee member to proceed to the final ballot.
Jay Cue,Was selected 18th overall in the 2nd round of the S18 ISFL draft by the Arizona Outlaws. Cue was the longtime QB in Arizona and was a very productive player in the desert. Cue was a 5x pro-bowler, 4 at QB and once at offensive line after switching late in his career. Cue was an enigma at QB and was one of the few mobile QBs that was great on the ground. Cue never collected a ring but his accolades were enough for the hall to finally let him in.

Jacob Small was drafted 110th overall in the tenth round of the S22 ISFL draft. Small quickly became the Sailfishe’s franchise kicker earning a pro bowl appearance in just their sophomore season and never looking back. Securing two ISFL Kicker of the Year awards, a Punter of the Year award, and five total pro bowl appearances. Small is also the only kicker in ISFL history to have not one but two perfect kicking seasons. In both S26 and S31 Small did not miss a single kick or extra point. One of the greatest to ever do it for the fish.

Douglas Quaid was drafted 9th overall in the first round of the S21 ISFL Draft by the Yellowknife Wraiths and what a pick it would turn out to be. A leader on defense for three separate championships even post expansion Quaid was a force to be reckoned with. Tallying four pro bowls in their twelve year career, perhaps the most impressive thing about Quaid was their ability to tackle tallying 10 100+ tackle seasons and ending their career at 1,392 tackles so close to that 1,400 mark. While having no individual awards asides from the pro bowls Quaid was a pillar of consistency for the Wraiths and as a three time champion enters the hall.

Exilizer is a huge reason why you’re reading this post on the site you are reading it on today. Exilizer was in charge of the monumental task of transferring the ISFL from the Jcink forums which went off perfectly. This enables us to do a lot more on the forums that we weren’t able to accomplish before, the aforementioned claim button and player builder weren’t a possibility on Jcink. In addition we were able to bring over all the old posts and preserve the history of the league. Exilizer continues to be a reliable Dev head for the league and continues to innovate in the league. For that he enters the hall of fame.

Crunk is the GM to reach 100 wins the fastest in the history of the league. Doing it in just 8 seasons Crunk alongside Z-Whiz built a team to sustain success. Posting a career win rate of 69% (nice) over the course of 10 seasons is good enough for third best win rate of the GMs in the GM HOF. Of those GMs he has 80 more regular season games played. Crunk along with the Outlaws did not have the postseason success with only four wins and no Ultimus to show for it Crunk consistently kept his team in playoff contention and holds the best single season win loss record in the new sim era with 14-2, alongside the most regular season championships. His General Manager of the Year award is the cherry on top of an Outlaws team he helped build into a long term contender that went back to back the two seasons after he stepped down. A well deserved entrant.

S37 Hall of Fame Ballot Results

(S20-S27)
Jay Cue,Was selected 18th overall in the 2nd round of the S18 ISFL draft by the Arizona Outlaws. Cue was the longtime QB in Arizona and was a very productive player in the desert. Cue was a 5x pro-bowler, 4 at QB and once at offensive line after switching late in his career. Cue was an enigma at QB and was one of the few mobile QBs that was great on the ground. Cue never collected a ring but his accolades were enough for the hall to finally let him in.

(S23-S33)

No players were renominated for HOF this season.
- ISFL User Hall of Fame -
Now, we move on to the User Hall of Fame! As passed in the S24 Rules Summit, the rules for the User HOF have changed:
Quote:- To be inducted, a user will need to obtain "YES" votes from 2/3 of the voters.Since S33 no new members have made the User Hall of Fame but this season we are excited to welcome three new members into the hall!
- Users will remain on the ballot for 3 seasons before being removed from the ballot.
- Users who have been removed from the ballot can be renominated by the committee.
Swanty
The public nomination for Swanty had this listed
Quote:Fourth longest serving member of ISFL HO (over 500 days), with a stint as ISFL commissioner, helping in the sim switch with archetypes and balance, Swanty has had a large impact on numerous facets of the league from a position of overwatching in its entirety, that should see him as a potential candidate for the User Hall of FameIt doesn’t cover enough of what Swanty has done for the league but it’s a damn good start. From teaming up with the sim transfer team, and continuing to serve on the sim balance team. To become commissioner of the league, leading the league through a peaceful time, adding amazing features such as the claim button and new player creator and working on cross league relations with our sister sim leagues Swanty has been an amazing user since entering the league in the S24 DSFL draft. A well deserved position in the user hall of fame for the former commish and two time Most Dedicated Member.
Pat
Pat is another user who entered the league in the S24 DSFL Draft and became a part of league leadership quickly after that, becoming the GM for the Philadelphia Liberty and would hold that position for the next 10 seasons. Pat would go on to join the sim transfer team and continue the work with the sim balance team, helping to release the major archetype rework. Helping to form the SFWG and revamped awards system Pat has been an integral part of the league over the past two and a half years and is a well deserved addition to the User Hall of Fame.Exilizer

- ISFL General Manager Hall of Fame -
Finally, we move on to the General Manager Hall of Fame. As was passed in the S25 Rules Summit, the GM HOF has been created. This will follow the same nomination/induction process as the User HOF.
Crunk was nominated by the community for the ISFL GM HOF
Crunk
(S26-S36)
