Outlaws starting free safety Allen Davis has been awfully quiet in the weeks following the Outlaw's dismantling of Baltimore in the Ultimus game to end the season. There have been speculations as to where he has been and if he was coming back. Well here I am to tell you how the off season went down. After Arizona had cemented their place as back to back Champs the team went and celebrated together obviously, but one player took the celebrations to the next level. Davis reportedly took one of his yachts (that he totally didn't dip into the equipment fund to buy) and started collecting women for his own little booze cruise for himself and close friends. Davis took himself and everyone in his party to southern California where he keeps his yacht so that they could set sail. Reports say that the boat was filled with copious amounts of alcohol and Marijuana before it set sail in the Pacific Ocean. Davis initially set sail two and a half weeks ago on this supposed booze cruise and left the world of football behind for a while. Sometimes you have to take your mind off of football with women, drugs and a little bit of fishing. Some may question Davis's methods of blowing off steam following the Ultimus game however we all have our own ways of making sure to wind down after a long day and if it works it works. We will see if Davis seems affected during the preseason, he might just come back even more refreshed and ready to go than ever. After being gone out on the open ocean for two and a half weeks there were some people who thought maybe he would just sail off into the sunset a champion and never come back to football. This was all just media sensationalism though as Davis has made it clear that he is dedicated to improving his game and helping Arizona build a dynasty in the desert. As expected when the Outlaws started training camp Davis was there and ready to go. He even seemed to have gotten faster since the end of last year maybe he was out on that party cruise working out instead of partying, it's unlikely but it could be the case. Now back from his extended vacation Davis told reporters he is completely focused on the next season and that any and all distractions are gone now. There is only one thing in the mind of Davis now the he is back on the grind, and that is helping his team defend the Ultimus title a second time. Although his ways of spending time after the Ultimus may be unorthodox Davis says that the time away did wonders for him. Sometimes nothing beats being out on the open ocean getting a little tipsy and hanging out with friends. While many NSFL players were working out and training non stop over the off season Davis was taking some down time. We will see this next season if the time away helped him or of it just put him behind his peers and will make him have to work harder to improve over the season. According to himself Davis will have no problems jumping back into football he told nosy reporters that the cruise helped him to reevaluate his priorities and made him reflect on his football career. Davis comes back to the field with a clear mind and a sound body. Faster than ever and mentally prepared for the next season Davis looks to make leaps and bounds from his impressive rookie season last year.
