Hello ISFL! Welcome back to another induction into the hall of fame!
S40 Hall of Fame Ballot Results
As a quick summary, in order to be inducted into the Hall of Fame a player needs to be voted in by 2/3 of voters - if they receive 1/3 of the votes they will stay on the ballot for the next season.
As was passed in the S23 Rules Summit, we have formed a Hall of Fame Committee! The committee this season was made up of Infinitempg, Woelkers, Baron1898, JuOSu, manicmav36, nunccoepi, NicholasTheGreat, Frostbite, and Modern_Duke!
With these nine, our requirements are 6 votes to be inducted and 3 votes to stay on the ballot.
Note: As was noted in the S29 Open Newsletter, the general user base can now nominate players, general managers, and user contributors for consideration or re-consideration to the Hall of Fame! Publicly-submitted nominees must be sponsored by a HOF Committee member to be entered into the voting process. You can click HERE to nominate someone for consideration to the S40 ballot. Any players/general managers/user contributors that make it to the ballot via this method will be denoted with a †. As an additional note, players will still have to receive approval from half of the committee after being sponsored by a committee member to proceed to the final ballot.
Now, I"m pleased to introduce our newest members of the International Simulation Football League Hall of Fame! Welcome to the Hall of Fame:
Cobra Kai (@OrbitingDeath), Maverick Bowie (@Tonzy), Jackson Kingston (@Daybe), Melvin Murder-Moose (@SchwarzNarr), Mark Walker (@deadlunatic) & Chuck Roth (@zeagle1)!
Cobra Kai was selected 7th overall in the first round of the S26 ISFL draft by the Honolulu Hahalua. He played 8 seasons for the Honolulu Hahalua and won 2 Ultimus championships. He was a 5 time Pro Bowler, Running Back of the Year in S30, and Returner of the Year in S33 . His career stats include 11th in scrimmage yards, 15th in all-purpose yards, and 14th in career rushing touchdowns. Which further cement his legacy as one of the best running backs to ever play the game. His induction into the ISFL Hall of Fame is a testament to his hard work and dedication to football throughout his illustrious career.

Jackson Kingston was selected 26th overall in the third round of the ISFL S23 draft by the Colorado Yeti. Kingston was then taken 4th overall by the New York Silverbacks in the S25 ISFL Expansion draft. Throughout his career, Jackson has been a 6-time Pro-Bowler, and won Returner of the Year in S27. Kingston ends his career ranking 3rd in all-time receptions, 2nd in all-time receiving yards, and 10th in all-time receiving touchdowns and is 6th in all-purpose yards, demonstrating his elite return ability.. He has played for three teams in the ISFL winning a ring in consecutive years with two different teams, S29 with New York and S30 with Sarasota. Kingston played in a time where many of the greatest to ever do it did at the Wide Receiver position and still carved out his own path to the hall of fame.

Melvin Murder-Moose was selected 8th overall in the 1st round of the S24 ISFL Draft by the Colorado Yeti. Murder-Moose joined a team with a rich history of defensive excellence, yet managed to place themself a cut above the rest of the herd, rewriting the ISFL record book and even securing the S33 MVP award to pair with their S27 DPotY award. Although an Ultimus title eluded Murder-Moose in their career, quarterbacks were seldom able to do the same, and Murder-Moose's place in the record books has earned them this place in the Hall of Fame.

(S25-S34)
Maverick Bowie was selected 5th overall in the first round of the S24 ISFL draft by the Baltimore Hawks. Though Bowie would never suit up for the Hawks as he was traded to the Copperheads before making his ISFL debut. He was an outstanding cornerback for the Austin Copperheads for 9 seasons and made 6 pro-bowls in that time. His career accomplishments also include being named Cornerback of the Year in S31 and 2-time First Team All-Pro. He also has 11th place in career interceptions, which is a testament to his skill and dedication to the game. Maverick Bowie certainly deserves his place in the ISFL Hall of Fame!![AUS AUS](https://forums.sim-football.com/images/smilies/isfl/AUS_thumb.png)
