Lane Frost II, father of Lane III, had an incredible career as a DSFL wide receiver, and his son is fitting in right where he left off. Let's take a look at their comparisons.
Season 1:
II -- 2047 -- 74 receptions | 995 yards | 2 touchdowns
III -- 2058 -- 71 receptions | 1,077 yards | 10 touchdowns
Season 2:
II -- 2048 -- 73 receptions | 1,297 yards | 8 touchdowns
III -- 2059 -- 78 receptions | 1,482 yards | 14 touchdowns (Week 5 Projections)
In his rookie season, Lane III was a kick returner who had 634 yards, and taking that aspect away has opened him up to being a second-time pro bowler. Lane II, on the other hand, had two 1,000-yard receiving seasons and three 600-yard kick return seasons.
In Lane III's first season, he had 1,711 total yards, and in Lane II's first season, he had 995 total yards.
