Damn. Was really hoping someone would discuss my Rookie TPE bonus idea. Boooo @sapp2013 for not believing in me.

And I know the 80% thing is a sore subject right now, but might we be moving this in the wrong direction? We're trying to balance rushing and passing to make passing more valuable and you want to give teams the option to rush 33% less? This coming from the top passing team in the league btw. The thing about the yardage adjustment sliders is that they don't stop what is the most damaging part of the passing game, the deep catch and runs for 40+ yards. All that slider does is shorten the average route. So a passing game becomes 5 catches for 2 yards and then a deep catch for 60 yards. If anything it only increases the RNG of an outcome by how often a team gets a lucky deep route. And it's lame and boring to watch. Really what we should pursue to devalue passing is bring the max pass down to 60% and still use the rushing adjustment slider to increase the YPC of the run game. This way teams are required to rush more and we get more value from a more balanced team. Hank Winchester (S25 - Current) - Scrub

The more you restrict the differences that teams can have, the closer every team is to being pretty much the same. Yeah that's a reasonable position. But I think we'll still get everyone being the same with an 80 pass setting. Everyone is going to go with 80 pass and running backs might as well all be inactives. I'll use week 12's file as an example. Legion: Max pass Otters: Max pass Outlaws: Pretty damn close to max pass Hawks: Max pass Liberty: Max pass Wraiths: Max pass So the only two teams that weren't max pass (or very close to it) were Sabercats and Yeti. Setting max pass to 80 won't make team strategies more varied, they'll just make running backs in this league have less fun. I'd argue the point of the league is less about our strategy options and more about player enjoyment. Hank Winchester (S25 - Current) - Scrub

I'm not sure we'll see too much. 4 clicks will change a good RB from about 3.8 YPC to 4.3 YPC. If a team really focused a lot like OL and FB to improve around a great RB you might see 4.5 YPC.
