Welcome back everyone, to the Saskatoon Nobles! After a strong performance against the Oakland Raiders that put the rest of the NFL on notice, the Nobles have an away game versus Jacksonville and a home game versus the Seahawks. Can the Nobles continue their win streak and can their defense continue not allowing a single touchdown? I decided in the Seahawks game that I would shuffle around the depth chart, allowing some of the subs to start this game and see what they could do. With that all said and done, let's get right into it!

0:55 Left in the 4th - Hornbacher and Leaf Jr. get to Bortles on the blitz, forcing a field goal with time ticking down.
0:34 Left in the 4th - Armstrong kneels, ending a close fought game for both sides.
Final Score: 21 Nobles, 3 Jaguars
This was a much tougher game than the Raiders one, simply because the receivers had a decent amount of trouble getting open and then holding onto the ball. The team had a measly 153 yards of total offense on the game, but considering the defense held the Jaguars to just over 100 yards total, it didn’t end up mattering much.
Notable Statlines
Gump - 15 Attempts, 77 Yards, 1 Catch, 10 Yards, 3 Total TDs
Skarsgard - 5 Tackles, 2 Sacks
Grithead - 8 Tackles, 1 Sack
My Player of the Game: Thorian Skarsgard
Two key sacks from Skarsgard meant the low-ish offensive production didn’t matter as much today. He came out to play, stuffing Fournette several times and making Bortles’s time in the pocket a living hell.

1:48 Left in the 1st - Mongo and Bigsby connect once again on a pass, getting inside the Seahawks 25 yard line.
1:15 Left in the 1st - Bigsby throws a bullet down the middle to Sauce, getting inside the redzone.
0:44 Left in the 1st - Bigsby uses his feet to get into the endzone, carrying a pair of Seahawks defenders with him!

0:55 Left in the 3rd - Sauce gets open on his out route, taking the ball 24 yards and into Seahawk territory.
6:00 Left in the 4th - Toriki outruns everyone on the Seahawks defense, converting the 3rd down on the pitch play.

0:50 Left in the 4th - Cooter kneels it down to end the game.
Final Score: 17 Nobles, 0 Seahawks
We finally have a shutout by this team! Despite the lower points, the offensive production was solid by Bigsby and company, with a standout defensive performance by several of the defensive subs. I’m very proud of this team, and am now almost certain they are Superbowl bound despite being only 3 games into the season.
Notable Statlines
Bigsby - 14/19, 232 Yards, 2 Total TDs, 1 INT
Toriki - 13 Attempts, 59 Yards, 4 Catches, 38 Yards, 1 Total TD
Mongo - 3 Catches, 75 Yards
Kassel - 7 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1 Pass Deflection, 2.5 Sacks
D’Attoria - 2 Tackles, 1 INT
My Player of the Game: Thudd Kassel
Kassel took the spot of Mo Berry on this defense, and he did not disappoint at all. With two sacks in a row, a tackle for loss and a pass deflection, Kassel truly did it all today. He might just have earned himself a bit more playing time after this performance.
That's all for today, everyone! Tune in on Wednesday when we face off against the Texans and Dolphins on their home turf. Bye for now!
