Hey Guys! James Angler here.
Thought I would do a presser now that I have played some games in the DSFL under the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers !
Had a great Gameday last week and scored my first TD! Ask away.
2. Well I don't really know what team will draft me to be honest. I am in contact with a few of them and so far every scout I have talked to is really nice and gives some great insight into the team - which I really like because I am pretty new to the league and I am not that familiar with the teams. Everyone has some favorites, but I think that’s not something that everybody needs to know. The important thing is that I will give and try everything I can to help my team win the championship. With that being said, I am pretty stoked and excited for the draft and I can't wait to see who will pick who. I think we have some pretty exciting weeks ahead of us!
2. We have a great relationship! Of course, we had our little twitter shit talking session before I got on the team but that is behind us. We both push each other to get the most out of our bodies. We train hard and we play even harder! I think we make a great duo on the field. I am glad that I can call Heath Evans a true friend of mine and I can't wait to see him catch his first touchdown!
3. I really do think that we have it in our own hands to win the championship! We just need to keep our heads in the game, and we can't underestimate our opponents. We did that once and we got beaten. It sucks and we won't let that happen again! We need to focus on our next goal and not on that goal that is three steps ahead. First, we need to get to the playoffs and then it's in our hands to win it. I really believe that we can do it. It is a tough race in the league, and we are surely not the only team who can win the championship. But let me make one thing clear: we will not go under without a fight! We can and we will fight for that trophy!
2. Well what worked for me the best is to just walk about stuff that confuses you. Everybody in the league, not only limited to my team, was happy to help with questions I had. You come to a new place and of course it's confusing in the beginning. I never had any problem with another player. So, I guess the best advice i can give is to just ask away and don't be afraid to ask questions that may seem stupid to you. Everyone was a newcomer at one point and has felt the same. We are opponents on the field but in the end, we are in a league together and I think I can say that everyone wants the league to be the best it can be!
2. We against the Tijuana Luchadores at our Stadium. You will make some picks and we will win it! I think if we stick our heads together and work as a Team, we can win this championship. We are working hard for it and if we keep improving the way we are we can take that trophy home! It's going to be tough and we need to give everything we've got but we have it in our own hands and we can do it!
3. Yeah about that... I don't really know what to say. Look. I was hungry okay? I forgot my food and you had THREE CONTAINERS WITH LABELS ON THEM. THREE! So I took one and I ate your lunch. I am sorry and I will make up for it! What do you say about some Wings on the Weekend? It's on me! Again, I am sorry. And sorry for not coming out with the truth sooner. Didn't know you would get so angry. I was freaking scared dude, you're a huge monster but if you get your lunch you're always calm and chill... Sooo let's stay calm and enjoy some wings!
2. Jees you have no chill today have you? I am in no way better than Heath! We both do our job and we work great together; I think. Yeah, I scored a TD but if you look at the other Stats, I am nowhere close to get that number of Pancakes. Hmm Pancakes... Uhm I'm drifting. So yeah, I wouldn't say I am better, I would say I have a slightly different job than Heath, and Heath is putting in some real work! Without his Pancakes and protection, we would have way more trouble!
3. Hard question! Honestly, I love both. I like the colors of the Honolulu Hahalua's better, but I like the logo of the Sarasota Sailfish's better! I am pretty damn excited about the expansion and I can't wait what these two teams will achieve in the league and bring to the table.
4. When I was still living with my mom and dad, we had both. And I do like both, but it depends on the type of dog for me. If it is a big dog, I like it better than a cat, if it’s a small dog I like cats better.
5. Listen buddy, there is that famous quote “There are two types of people in this world. People that pee in the shower, and liars. “. And what can I say… Two plus Two is Five you know? So uhm… next question please!
2. Close call between the Sarasota Sailfish and Baltimore Hawks to be honest. I love both logos, they’re pretty clean and I dig the colors!
3. I wouldn’t say that I stole your TD Heath! You did an awesome block for our Quarter Back and I just happened to be at the right place in the right time and made the catch that’s all. As I said earlier, I think we make great duo on the field and we have slightly different jobs, just look at your tasty pancakes! You will make a TD sooner or later! We already talked about that in der locker room, no need to go over it again.
4. Yeah, in fact many scouts reached out to me and asked me questions, I won’t go over the details now but I can say that it felt great to get some recognition and be respected enough to get some questions from the “big guys”.
5. I guess the openness of the league and that you can talk with everybody basically. Yeah, we have opponents on the field, and we do some banter on twitter, but I don’t think that here are really any hard feelings between me and any other player. Also, that you get helped basically everywhere you go. It’s an excellent league for rookies to start out!
2. I’m a speedy guy and I can make catches so I don’t think it would be Defensive End. If I needed to swap, I would rather be a Wide Receiver or a Running Back. I mean sure, I want to be a valuable asset to my team and if the only thing I could do is being a Defensive End I would do it. But I have a certain plan in mind for my career and I don’t really see myself in the defense.
1. I think I am doing a great job of being a fast Tight End. Most of the other guys are more of the bulky blocking type and obviously I am a bit weaker in blocking. But what I lack in blocking I can easily make up in speed and availability for some fast passes and making some good yards! Also, I am one of the harder working ones I would say, I try to get the most out of my body and be the best Tight End I can for my team.
2. Well uhm… have you taken a look at yourself in the mirror lately? You’re huge and big. I guess one punch could take me to the Intensive Care Unit.
3. I want to get the most out of my body and be the best Tight End I can be. I want to help my team win the championship and just be a valuable asset!
That wraps it up! Thanks everyone for the questions! It was a pleasure.

At first, I was blown away like a little child going to Disney land for the first time. Everything was and is still pretty damn exciting to me. I was also kind of confused what to do but I am glad to say that I have some great Teammates and Friends who helped me find my way around the League. Now that I have some games under my belt, I started to find my way around way better. I'm trying to learn something about the NSFL Teams as the Draft will begin soon-ish. The biggest difference I guess is that the first time I stood on the field I was nervous as hell and now I am just stoked to play and do my job. I am ready to do everything I can to help my team achieve victory!
2.What team do you think will draft you? And what team do you feel you would prefer to go to?
2. Well I don't really know what team will draft me to be honest. I am in contact with a few of them and so far every scout I have talked to is really nice and gives some great insight into the team - which I really like because I am pretty new to the league and I am not that familiar with the teams. But it was an amazing feeling. I was overwhelmed with emotions and I was pumped as hell! I guess it was one of the defining moments of my career. All that hard training, getting into the DSFL and then seeing that ball coming towards me, catching it and then I just ran. Realizing that I crossed that goal line and made that touchdown for my team was amazing! I just stood there for a second before freaking out. My team ran towards me and we celebrated the moment! After that game we celebrated our victory and it was awesome to see the guys just being proud of me. It is an amazing feeling that everyone should get to feel one day!
2.How is your relationship with TE partner Heath Evans?
3.How far do you think the Buccaneers can go this season?
2. We have a great relationship! Of course, we had our little twitter shit talking session before I got on the team but that is behind us. We both push each other to get the most out of our bodies. I am training hard and I am working to get some money because my equipment is kind of outdated at the moment. So, more training and getting some nice new equipment are my main goals at the moment. Of course, I want to perform the best I can for my team. I also want to play in the playoffs and of course I hope to play in the championship and win it. It would be awesome to win a championship in my first season in the DSFL! For the rest of my career? I hope to be a valuable asset to the team that drafts me and that we can rise to glory together. One of the most important things for me though is to have a great relationship with my teammates and friends. I think when you have a good relationship with your team and you just click together you can get the most out of the team.
2.What advice do you have for the new rookies joint the DSFL?

You play better and better every week! Teams lack some defense and I think you did a great showing of your skills against the Tijuana Luchadores. Two Interceptions? That’s freaking great! You're also one of the best newcomers on our team. I think it could be a head to head race between you and Troen Egghands. Defense is overlooked for too long and I hope you guys can make a difference for the better!
Who do you think we'll play against in the Ultimini? Will we win?
Do you know who ate my lunch? I left it in the fridge in the team kitchen with my name CLEARLY WRITTEN ON THE LABEL. I can't believe someone would just eat my lunch.

Don't get me wrong here, it's not like Cory never helped me, it's just that Frost is more available, you feel me? On the other hand,... Frost jinxed a win and missed some predictions sooooooooooo... But who am I to say who is better? They both do an excellent job and without their work we wouldn't have such a great Team dynamic.
2.Why are you better than feeler?
3.Out of the two expansion team, which one's branding do you prefer the most?
4.Dogs or cats?
5.Do you piss in the shower?

Well the day I came here I literally knew NOTHING! I didn’t know who to ask if I didn’t know anything or how to get some money, where do I even train? Is there an equipment shop? I was overwhelmed but gladly I had a friend who joined the London Royals, Nick Kaepercolin. He joined the league a week before I was picked off of the waiver list, so he knew some stuff. I asked him a lot of questions and he helped me a lot – so thanks! When I was picked by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers, I’ve got a really nice and warm welcome! I never had any anxiety to ask any question there and I could basically just yell a question in the locker room and an answer came back. So, I can safely say, without Nick and my Team I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thanks again everyone! I now know my way around the league somewhat, I still learn new things every day, but I feel way more comfortable while doing league related stuff.
2.What is your favourite of the NSFL logos?

I love the composition of the logo and the colors. I think the green, white and purple just looks sick, before I knew anything about the league, I already loved the team just because of the logo, I mean I didn’t really have anything else to go off.
