Remember that I said I would play for any team, but only wanted to talk to the GM (or player coach) about what they wanted and/or how to make it work. That a single message was too much to ask for a first round prospect I found insulting, and I don't want to be surrounded by people I feel insulted by. That's what work is for.
((Also, remember for me that this is a role play, and a fantasy. I've played this character as a loud mouth, as proud. This just fits too well))
Before I continue, of course I know you look at it as a roleplay and fantasy. B)
But going off on that, in real life too, I think it's quite ridiculous that Elway and eli forced their way out of an organization because of their refusal to play for said teams. I would draft them and make them rot on the bench, going back to they are rookies with nothing under their belts, who the hell are they to make demands?!
That's coming from an Elway fan. Also interesting to note that you see yourself as a first round prospect. I look at myself the same way and haven't heard from a few teams, but if said teams drafted me I would still gladly play for them just under the simple fact that hell, I got drafted I'm ready to go out and prove everyone out there that I'm the real deal. Doesn't matter if I'm on the best or worst team, but it's all on personal preference and personality i guess.
