One of the many draft-related things I do over on the SHL every year is a team prospect report, just something to get the Kraken rookies' names out there before the big draft. Norfolk has been a very welcoming place, and the two people I was brought in with (for a short amount of time) were just as great.
I've tried to keep the actual reports about their players. Sure, General Managers don't draft players, they draft people, but I like to add some sort of a storyline to my players to keep me interested in development.

"SparkySparky Boom-Man as young as he is, already shows great potential. Bringing him in to Norfolk to fill one of our holes at DB had no doubt helped our defense solidify in the last few games. As far as I know he's never played a snap of football before in his life, but this kid has strong shoulders on him and hits like a truck. I'm happy to have given him a chance to kickstart his career." - @J0EB
"When looking at the potential of someone like SparkySparky Boom-Man, you've got to keep in mind that this kid is just going to keep getting better and better. He's still learning, but it's pretty clear that this man is about to explode onto the scene sooner rather than later." - @Blasoon

"To stir up some kicker competition in Norfolk we brought in Mills Wallace off of waivers. This guy has a leg like a hammer, and some of his tape from NAU is quite impressive. His accuracy is definitely lacking as of now, but with the natural power that he so cleanly derives, we thought giving this kid an early shot at a starting role was a good call, and it paid off." - @J0EB
"Mills Wallace has shown a level of professionalism in his dedication to getting better; unlike anything I've seen before. He's constantly out on the field practicing different progressions for his kicks, and we at Norfolk have been waiting with baited breath to see when he breaks his longest field goal try." - @Blasoon

Now for my first in the ISFL, and DSFL, here is this season's Norfolk SeaWolves Prospect Reports.
Lawrence Miller - @overdoo

Lawrence Miller has always been the type to take pride in his play, and that had shown in his few DSFL games this season. The day after learning he was going to be playing in Norfolk to finish their season off, he was on their field with the defensive coaches. He brought a strong drive to his game that almost made up for some of the skill he has yet to build up, but once he becomes comfortable in the league he will be a force. From the first down, he was one feared by the offense, and while he made mistakes here and there, the potential showed. He will be a rock on the defensive unit for whichever team decides to take him in this upcoming draft, and fans should look forward to seeing him play.
"Lawrence Miller, coming out of Michigan State University, was going to be thrust into a starting role for us as soon as we got him. Just looking at Miller, you can tell this guy is built to play corner. 6'1", 210 pounds. From college he's developed a well rounded play style, and overall is a very balanced player. We're hoping that through his first games, he found a natural groove and really starts to stand out and specialize in his own role." - @J0EB
"Lawrence Miller has shown some really impressive growth throughout the season. Since he joined this organization on waivers, we've seen him drastically improve all elements of himself. He's getting faster, getting stronger, and lastly getting smarter. And I for one am really excited about his future." - @Blasoon

Boom-man, like Miller, quickly found himself performing well on the SeaWolves defensive unit, racking up the tackles since his first game. He is a hard hitter, and proved it in these few games, and it is scary to think what he could do with more training. He is a dedicated player, and since starting to play the game, has had a skyrocketing projection that is to be admired.

Wallace will be one of those guys this draft that is overlooked, and that is purely because of his position. He has almost been seen as a strong part of the Norfolk locker room despite being new, and has made it that much easier for both Miller, and Boom-man to adjust to the new league. As far as his on field skills go, Wallace has amazed. He didn't miss a kick, and while Norfolk never challenged him with long yardage, he kicked with such accuracy and power that one is to think he would not have a problem anyway. His punting game was admirable, with his longest being a 60 yard punt, in his first game. This is exactly the type of kicker you will want on your team, and I have no doubt Wallace will be that anchor on the type when needed.
