Wowie! Another week, another 5/7 in predictions! At this point in the season, you would think that teams are getting easier to predict based off their box scores and player stats. We all know better though. The sim is still gunna sim. Week 11, in my opinion, might be more of a 'by the numbers' kind of week for matchups.
Week 11

Outlaws have slowed their momentum but were able to pick up an easy win in Week 10 over the worst team in the league. Orange County meanwhile couldn't get the job done on the road against Austin, leading them to tie up the record with the Copperheads. I'd still be shocked if Orange County doesn't hold of Arizona. They've been consistently testing good, but continue to get dealt that harsh sim magic. Otters will be looking to posture themselves into a better playoff position.

New York had an impressive road win against New Orleans last week. Trailing in the beginning, I thought there was no hope. I was proven the idiot when New York came back blazing, scoring 17 total points in the fourth quarter. San Jose on the other hand managed to lose against a struggling Baltimore team. Granted, Baltimore was playing at home; but still. With New York heating up and trying to elbow their way into the playoffs, I can see them holding their ground on their home turf this week against San Jose.

Honolulu has one win on the season. One. Literally. New Orleans war room needs to rally their strats after last weeks loss. The end of the regular season is fast approaching and New York is threating their position among the ASFC. If New Orleans takes a loss against Honolulu, New York owns now owns the tie breaker. I reeeeeally don't think Honolulu can magically pull off a win, but I can guarantee New Orleans did their prep work for this game. I predict New Orleans for the win.

This will be a close game to watch. Both teams have similar records so far in the season, as well as both having the ability to randomly lose for like no reason. Both teams also came away from Week 10 with a win. The Yeti were able to defend their home from the ever cursed Berlin team, while Austin was able to pull off an impressive win over Orange County. While Colorado is by no means a walk in the park, I have to ride the hype train on this one. I'm picking the Copperheads to squeak by with another win in Colorado.

While the Salamander bois have somehow been able to remove the hex placed upon them this season, Sarasota somehow found a way to lose at home against Philly last week. While I still don't expect Berlin to be able to win, Sarasota has let me down before. In fantasy I do own both Joe P. and Witheblock, so on that front I don't really care who wins. I'm going have to go with Sarasota though, because even though they've let me down before; I just don't have faith in Berlin to win.

Philly was able to beat Sarasota on the road in Week 10, maybe they still have the magic this week? Butchers have a winning record, but have struggled a bit mostly because of their reluctance to call up Alexander Franklin from the DSFL. With a fresh body on OL and their playoff chances on the line, I expect Chicago to win this week.

Soooo, is anyone NOT picking Yellowknife to win Week 11? While Baltimore was able to win with the upset last week (which of course was amazing that they actually got another win), I just don't see Yellowknife slowing down the hurt train the slightest bit. The game against Baltimore is their second home game out of a three home game streak. The only opponents that Yellowknife has left that have the best chance to beat them back are Colorado and Sarasota. Which even then... good luck with that. If this was irl football, I would expect Yellowknife to start thinking about pulling their starters. Needless to say I have Yellowknife as the easy win in Week 11.
