3-year Boston College student Rudy Gray had intrigued scouts earlier this year when the captain of the wrestling team switched over to play for the Boston College Eagles. Even as a fresh addition to the team, Gray as played at a level higher than some NFL Offensive Lineman college careers, even getting a look from former Cleveland Browns tackle Joe Thomas, who stated on Twitter, "Boston College lineman Rudy Gray reminds me of a younger me, but less facial hair. Go Eagles!"
The young 21-year-oldrecently had a conversation with Portland Pythons GM South, who showed him around the Pythons Locker Room.
"He's an inspiration to me, really. Watching him lead his team deep into the playoffs like that shows great leadership. I really think he can lead Portland to the Ultimini." Gray said in a press conference.
Even at a young age, Gray is one of the locker room leaders for the Eagles. Some teammates have seen him staying in the film room all night trying to learn as much as possible and give tips to his fellow players, offense and defense alike. Scouts across the league are saying the lineman could be a generational talent, and looking at the way he plays, I agree as well.
