Being completely new to the league and everything I will do a review on all teams based on their colour schemes and the branding. I have used the banners for the team pages, info I can find in the Team Information section for each team and if there’s none wiki, if it’s not in any of those places, it’s not been looked at, sorry. It was also surprisingly difficult as I don't think there are any bad examples (for current logos).
I’ll preface this and say this is purely cosmetic and whatever team ends up drafting me I’ll say our branding is the best, I’ll root for us against *worst enemy* always and call them bad.
(So far) I have no preference for a team that I want to go to, I’m just excited to end up on any team and start playing and getting to know people to have a good time while playing this sim league!
Without further ado
Kansas City Coyotes
It’s a nice looking banner, but it’s not the one that catches my attention. While I do like the howling coyote it’s a bit too plain for my taste. Overall, the colour scheme is nice, and I like all the uniform with my favourite being the alternate uniform. The logo is better than the banner and I would prefer the wiki one to the one on the banner.
London Royals
The banner does look nice, simple but still enough details to make it interesting. The logo feels like it’s taken a lot of inspiration from a traditional soccer logo with a slightly changed colour scheme. The jersey do look sweet!
Minnesota Grey Ducks
I like the banner, it’s different, not your traditional logo for a team either. The colour scheme works and unfortunately, I’ve not found any uniforms so can’t comment on those but I have a feeling those could be nice with the colour scheme chosen.
Portland Pythons
I really do like the banner, nice colours for the python and the football. After that it’s been confusing... why do you have 3 logos in different places, how is a rookie meant to decide which one to look at?
So I looked at all 3…
I do like this one, simple but effective.
Yeah… no, don’t like this one at all, it just does not appeal to me at all.
This one I really do like, as it’s the same on from the banner!
Bondi Beach Buccaneers
This is by far my favourite banner, I love the colour scheme, the details and the feel from the banner.
However, the logo alone is not as nice as it gets too much green/yellow. Unfortunately, no uniforms I could find.
Dallas Birddogs
It’s quite simple, but it works, I like the banner, but this is a case where the logo alone is better than the combined banner. The colour scheme is great and there’s enough detail in the logo.
Again, no uniforms I could find, so no comments
Norfolk Seawolves
It’s clean, it’s different and it’s a great banner with enough details.
The logo in itself is really nice and
But I must ask, what happened here?
Tijuana Luchadores
The Banner is slightly weird, but the logo is great and the uniforms are my favourites of the ones I’ve seen. The colours work great together and gives the vibe from the area
So to rank our brandings
