G'day, International Simulation Football League! Welcome to Perth! As the capital and largest city in Western Australia, Perth acts as the economic hub for the entire state of Western Australia. In conjunction with her other cities surrounding one of the most isolated cities in the world, the Perth metropolitan area covers 6.4k km2 of land with over two million inhabitants living concurrently. But surely living in one of the most isolated cities on earth meant there's no fun and exciting activities around the city? Nah, yeah. Perth is a tourist hotspot for Western Australians and international visitors alike. On top of that, yeah, sport is big here in the City of Light. Soccer, rugby, Australian rules football, you name it with other sports to boot. Speaking of Aussie rules football...
If there's one sport that is uniquely Australian in nature, it's Aussie rules football - and it's played all over Australia - including WA and Perth. Teams such as the West Coast Eagles and the Fremantle Dockers represent WA's love for the sport in modern times and their home stadium - is where we're headed for the Ultimus. Perth (Optus) Stadium is WA and Perth's new sporting jewel. Completed in 2018, this multi-purpose stadium often hosts Australian Football League (AFL) matches for the Eagles and the Dockers, as well as other events such as cricket (home of the national team), rugby (league and union), and soccer. Supported by an intricately planned transportation infrastructure, the stadium is accessible by rail and by bus provided by WA's Public Transportation Authority, ensuring fans from all over the world can enjoy events in Optus. With a capacity of 65,000 seats available in its rectangular configuration, this jewel on the Swan River will welcome another form of football for Australian fans.
You can't forget about the black swans if you're talking about Western Australia, mate! What might be Western Australia's most recognizable identity, the black swan pops up as the emblem for many of Western Australia's governmental authorities and establishments, and most importantly, the black swan is featured as a principal charge on the shield of the Western Australian coat-of-arms and is featured on their official flag!
Our logo isn't rocket science - it's a black swan with XXXII plastered on the side, black and gold - it's not that hard to understand!

So, that's Perth for ya! How about you bring your mates in for a bit of American football fun in the City of Light this upcoming season, then? Cheers!
