Dear ISFL GM's:
My name is James Batista. I’m a 6' 5" Defensive End from Charleston, West Virginia and I play for the Minnesota Grey Ducks, and there are some things that you should know about me for the upcoming draft.
Growing up, I was always a fan of the game of football. I loved the physicality, the strategy, and the camaraderie that came with playing the sport. I was fortunate enough to have supportive coaches and family members who encouraged me to keep playing, and I quickly fell in love with the game.
Throughout my DSFL career, I have had the privilege of playing with and against some of the best youth players in the country. These experiences have pushed me to be better and have allowed me to develop my skills as a football player.
Now, I am ready to take the next step and enter the ISFL. I know that this is not going to be an easy road, but I am prepared to work hard and give it my all. I have been training relentlessly for months, and I am confident that I have what it takes to succeed at the next level.
To all the teams out there, I want to let you know that I am a hard worker and a team player. I have a strong passion for the game and a desire to win. I believe in putting in the time and effort to be the best that I can be, and I am eager to bring my skills to your organization.
In closing, I want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way especially to the Minnesota Duck Organistion and the Pittsburgh Panthers. This journey would not be possible without you. I am looking forward to the road ahead and to the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing in the ISFL.
Thank you,
James Batista
