Welcome to my ISFL mock draft! This is such a great class and I am really excited to be putting this together. My picks will be based on positional need, locker room fit/activity and TPE earning. Once again with this being such a great class do not be shocked if you go earlier in the actual draft a lot of it can be based on how well your conversations went with GMs which I have no knowledge of. I am not including myself in this because I have no clue where I will land and I don't want it to seem like I favor a place.
I will say upon further realization the pick order may not be most accurate but I am too lazy to fix...
Draft Order:
1. NYS
2. COL (from BAL )
3. HON
4. OCO (from SJS )
5. NOLA (from BER )
6. NOLA
7. COL
8. SAR
9. AUS
10. CTC
11. OCO
12. CHI
13. YKW
14. ARI
Round 1
1. New York Silverbacks
toofpete - Bruce White (Speed Rusher Defensive End) 245 TPE
A lot of people could potentially go first overall but we see a large need on the defensive front for the Silverbacks, namely at the defensive line and secondary. Bruce White has made a name for himself thus far and is someone who has contributed a lot amongst this class. Bruce White is one of the two hosts of the pumping hands podcast with Rico Savage, he has established himself as a great player so far and a great contributor. Toofpete has one of the larger banks amongst the rookies thanks to his podcast as well which is a huge plus. I would definitely keep toofpete in mind if I were the Silverbacks as he is one of the best options out there! I do not know much about his locker room presence but if I were to assume based off his league chat presence he is surely a great player in the locker room.
Alternative Options: Dub Redd (wizard_literal), Loose Cannon (Jumbo) and Craig Brand (ElMerchanto)
2. Colorado Yeti (via Baltimore Hawks )
aeonsjenni - Mary Marie (Safety Enforcer) 249 TPE
Jenni is one of the best contributors to media in the season 41 class of rookies and her analysis of EPA is often unrivaled. If we are talking presence of Jenni, they are one of the most positive people in the community and contribute a lot to the community whenever someone may need help with something she is there to help. She is a lock for the first round just a matter of where she will fall to. but if u are an egg salad disliker like myself don't draft Jenni, all jokes aside she is great and will fit into any locker room. She is the proud leader of a cult too! While the Yeti may not have a direct need for the position Jenni is such a great fit for the locker room that I am sure that the Yeti do not pass up on this player with their first pick.
Alternative Options: Dub Redd (wizard_literal), Loose Cannon (Jumbo), Craig Brand (Merchant) and Kadarius Claypool II (Weaves)
3. Honolulu Hahalua
UptownCord - John Stark VIII (Versatile Linebacker) 252 TPE
UptownCord is the current GM of the Portland Pythons which shoots him up the draft boards for many teams. On top of that he has a great presence in league rooms from what I have seen and has a stable bank right now with a very high earning job. He is a top earner close to the top 5 or breaking it depending when this article comes out. He is probably one of the best prospects in all categories and we can expect him to go pretty early on but I think that Honolulu has the biggest need for linebacker of the teams that have picked before this so as soon as a team even remotely needs a LB bam he is off the board.
Alternative Picks: Rico Savage (TheRake), Craig Brand (Merchant) and Loose Cannon (Jumbo)
4. Orange County Otters (via San Jose SaberCats )
Memento Mori - Oliver Tolliver (Speed Wide Receiver) 271 TPE
Unfortunately for Beck and Slate they have to deal with Mori again! The Otters have two wide receivers on their roster and look to expand on that with the best current receiver in the draft which is Mori who is a former Otter GM! Now we could see Mori want to land somewhere else but I feel that it is right for the Otters to take their former GM who they know will contribute to their team and war room. I would say Mori is a great pick on all sides but he got dominated by me in fantasy this season so there are obviously places he needs to improve but he just needed to be humbled a tad. Regardless Mori is a great recreate and will be a great presence in the locker room and is one of the top wide receivers on the board. Otters will be glad to have him back.
Alternative Picks: Rico Savage (TheRake), Craig Brand (ElMerchanto), and Loose Cannon (Jumbo)
5. New Orleans Secondline (via Berline Fire Salamanders )
Jumbo - Loose Cannon (Versatile Linebacker) 288 TPE
Oh what do I need to even say about this great prospect, Jumbo is a top earner in the league and a new user who has been pumping out graphics like crazy. These graphics look great and hey they may look even better with purple and gold! Secondline is looking to rebuild their defense and will most likely do so with their first two picks. They go for a large value pick here with majority of the NOLA linebackers reaching regression. I do not know much about Jumbos presence but I have seen him around a fair bit but he is probably very active in locker room with his teammates and would be a wonderful addition for NOLA.
Alternative Picks: Dub Redd (wizard_literal), Craig Brand (ElMerchanto) and Kadarius Claypool II (Weaves)
6. New Orleans Secondline
Weaves - Kadarius Claypool II (Physical Cornerback) 245 TPE
The Secondline continue to develop their defense with the pick of Claypool II at the 6th pick and this is a position of need for the Secondline. Weaves has a great presence in league spaces and he is the host of one of my favorite podcasts to listen to in this league I always end up laughing sooner or later. I am sure he would be a great addition to the Secondline defensive rebuild. Now lets talk about the need at corner for New Orleans, The Stig is reaching regression with 25% which is still recoverable but then after that we see a dropoff. Both of their remaining cornerbacks are both IA and free agents so we could potentially see one of them let go and an immediate call up for Weaves depending on if he wants to stay down or not. I think he would be a great fit for NOLA.
Alternative Picks: Dub Redd (wizard_literal), Craig Brand (ElMerchanto) and Malik Brooks (AK41)
7. Colorado Yeti
wizard_literal - Dub Redd (Interior Rusher Defensive Tackle) 249 TPE
As one of Wizards teammates that has seen his activity with his team in the locker room and in league spaces take it from me that he is a guaranteed first rounder. Wizard provides some of the best analysis alongside Jenni and is into sim testing. Wizard also has a league job which is bonus points and plays a position that is a strong need for teams right now which is defensive tackle. If Colorado can snag both Jenni and Wizard in this draft I would say its a huge success for them personally. Wizard has one of the larger banks of new users and is towards the top in earning so look for him to go early in the draft.
Alternative Picks: Craig Brand (ElMerchanto), Billy Jor-El (Lt. Hudz) and Liath Squirrel (LiathTheSquirrel)
8. Sarasota Salifish
Legs McMillion - jollyjiggs (Return Specialist Wide Receiver) 234 TPE
Now people may see this as a questionable pick but I feel like I can justify it a tad. Personally I think jollyjiggs is one of the top new WRs on the board and is very well deserving at going this spot. Sarasota is in need at WR for the future with Sconnie moving on and jollyjiggs has been a great user thus far. Did some great podcast work and did the DSFL power rankings video which I would personally love to see more of! They also have a great presence in league spaces and has some willingness to switch to some positions from what I have heard. I really do think this could be a pick that gets overlooked but fills a large need for the team! I could see them alternatively go LB here and if thats the case Max Honestly would be a great pick then I have also listed some alternate WR options.
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Benji Aguilera (CROney3) and Max Honestly (LeSizz)
9. Austin Copperheads
Max Honestly - LeSizz (Versatile Linebacker) 235 TPE
The Copperheads look to boost their defense this season and start off strong with a top LB in the draft that is Max Honestly. Now I have not had too much interaction with LeSizz but he seems to be a great guy and makes some wonderful sigs which if you have not checked out you genuinely should. In league rooms he seems like a great person and gives overall good vibes so I am sure he would be a great fit in most locker rooms! I do not know if he has war room interest but I could see him having some but all I have to say are positive things! If the interview with LeSizz goes well mark him down for being picked by Austin. This could also be Merchant but he had listed some spots he definitely could see picking him Austin wasn't included so thats why he is not here.
Alternative Picks: Craig Brand (ElMerchanto), Rico Savage (TheRake) and Artemis Entreri (entreri)
10. Cape Town Crash
Roland Onyxgut - crash1005 (Power Rusher Defensive End) 237 TPE
Now call me crazy but the crash draft the dude named Crash this seems like a match made in heaven or am I crazy? Don't answer that, thats rhetorical. Anyways from my last article Negs highlighted two things the Crash need which is pass rush and a receiving game and a lot of this will come down to locker room fit but if they want to go pass rush its either roland or logjammed and I legitmately only went Crash because of his name lol. Lets highlight Crash though, he has done a couple strong media and has been very active in the discord and looks like he could be a great fit into most locker rooms. Whenever I wake up the last message is always this dude and I don't know why I find it funny but I do. I think he would be a great option for the crash to improve a below average pass rush with such a deep WR class.
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Logjammed McBobface (marccelaat) and Benji Aguilera (CROney3)
11. Colorado Yeti (via Orange County Otters )
Wolfie McDummy Jr. - infinitempg (Speed Wide Receiver) 266 TPE
The first Birddog off the board and it is a REACH. Infinite is formerly part of the Colorado Yeti and will probably end up rejoining them this season and they do indeed need him! There is a lack at the WR position right now so with the addition of this speedy receiver right across from the letter E it would be great. A little about infinite we all know him as one of the richest people but he is also fun whens hes around even though he sometimes just appears out of thin air and when he puts together media its normally pretty well done so expect him to be picked by the Yeti here.
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Benji Aguilera (CROney3) and Emile Charles (Number 82)
12. Chicago Butchers
Craig Brand - ElMerchanto (Pass Rush Linebacker) 249 TPE
Back to back Birddogs off the board and we see Brand go here. I know Brand had mentioned some teams that he thinks will pick him but Chicago is looking to retool and this could be a great landing spot for him. He is a very charismatic user and would hope to help turn this team around in the offseason and following seasons by immediately diving into war room activities. Not only will Merchant fill a position of need for the team but he will have a direct impact on the team even if he has to stay down for a year to develop. He is also open to switching which is a huge plus for the Butchers!
Alternative Picks: Liath Squirrel (LiathTheSquirrel), Benji Aguilera (CROney3) and Artemis Entreri (enrtreri)
13. Yellowknife Wraiths
Benji Aguilera - CROney3 (Posession Wide Receiver) 234 TPE
Now am I being biased? No never... Ok maybe a tad BUT as I always like to say hear me out. CROney is one of the best users and by far is one of the most active and he posts some of the most consistent media during the season with his casino articles which were fabulous reads if you have not already go read them. I had used several of them throughout the season and had hit a parlay like once but I only did a couple parlays but I used his advice! Nonetheless he is earning great and is a captain of the Luchadores alongside me and Wizard while active in war room. He would be such a great addition to any team and I think it would be a real shame for him to not go in the first and I stand by that!
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Emile Charles (Number 82) and Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan)
14. Arizona Outlaws
Rico Savage - TheRake (Ball Hawk Safety) 246 TPE
I am shocked that I have TheRake falling this far but he joins a great team in Arizona. They have a near perfect team and look to just add depth for a couple of positions to cushion the blow for when most of their users begin to hit heavier regression. They do have a fair amount of callups but lack some depth at safety spot and with safety NotSo Smart active and ready to go they need a safety to replace Amari Springer. Well here comes Savage who is one of the two hosts of Pumpin Hands and has a large discord presence often having the most messages each week/highest level. There is no question about his activity and he is earning great this is a wonderful add for the Outlaws in a great class.
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Logjammed McBobface (marccelaat) and Nick Williams (nickWilliams)
Round 2
1. New York Silverbacks
Billy Jor-El - Lt. Hudz (All Purpose Defensive Tackle) 248 TPE
With Bruce White already picked they pick a DT in the second round to pair with the young defensive end and boy is this a deadly duo. They will be able to break through most OLs if they let both players develop till their rookie year and this could become the most feared Dline. Lets talk about Lt. Hudz, I do not see him talk a ton but when he does he is a kind and caring soul, seeming like he could fit into most environments. He has released some media and graphics so he has a steady bank balance and he could be a great fit for the Silverbacks I think. The Silverbacks look to improve a defense that is rough around the edges with this pick.
Alternative Picks: Liath Squirrel (LiathTheSquirrel), Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan) and DJ Maclean (Urq660)
2. San Jose SaberCats (via Baltimore Hawks )
Nick Williams - nickWilliams (Possession Tight End) 241 TPE
The SaberCats have 3 round 2 picks and they look to bolster their receiving core and their linebacker group. The first step is taking the number 1 tight end off the board Nick Williams who has been earning very well and has settled in well on the Royals. I often see Nick Williams pretty active on discord mainly posting gifs in the rookie channel and he just seems like hes chilling and I am vibing with that! He does graphics as well which is a huge addition to his bank roll so look for Nick Williams to go to a SaberCats team that needs to increase their efficiency receiving.
Alternative Picks: DJ Maclean (Urq660), Liath Squirrel (LiathTheSquirrel) and Emile Charles (Number 82)
3. Honolulu Hahalua
Ray Baker - jdc4654 (Accurate Kicker) 238 TPE
With Hahalua not having another pick till the 4th round they take advantage of this situation and draft the best kicker in the draft by far and the only one worth drafting this high Ray Baker! Baker will get the instant call-up and be able to do wonders for the team on special teams. A little about Ray Baker first, he is very active in the league having two league jobs and then additionally makes graphics as well which is a nice extra boost! He also seems like he would be a great addition to just about any locker room so this is not just filling a spot for Honolulu its picking up someone who will have a positive impact on the locker room and look for Baker to continue to make waves in the ISFL.
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Emile Charles (Number 82) and Logjammed McBobface (marccelaat)
4. San Jose SaberCats
DJ Maclean - Urq660 (Pass Rush Linebacker) 223 TPE
With two LBs nearing the back end of their career the SaberCats bring back Urq660 to fill the gap after developing this season most likely. While they do need a WR with a pick right around the corner they instead nab their linebacker and wait to pick WR with so many great ones still on the board. I often see him in discord but with him being in Europe he is not always on the same times as an American which is a given. He also has a league job as well so has a steady income and looks to be a steady great player for a LB core that is aging rapidly it feels.
Alternative Picks: Artemis Entreri (entreri), Emile Charles (Number 82) and Malik Brooks (AK41)
5. Berlin Fire Salamanders
Liath The Squirrel - LiathSquirrel (Pass Rush Linebacker) 244 TPE
Liath is a pretty active user and I have seen them around on discord a little bit. They are a recreate that has an already existing bank which is always a good plus for players. Liath also hosts a podcast and if you haven't given it a listen you should because it breaks down things pretty well on an ISFL basis and always introduces new people. Berlin needs a LB though and with this draft being heavily favored towards defensive players the first half we see them select LB of the future Liath Squirrel in hopes that they will be able to improve a defense that was on the lower end.
Alternative Picks: Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan), Justin Willis (Cycro) and Synystyr Gates (Dustillation)
6. New Orleans Secondline
Jumbo Edward - furiousPanda (Interior Defensive Tackle) 252 TPE
Alternative Picks: anyone else tbh
7. Arizona Outlaws (via Colorado Yeti )
Artemis Entreri - entreri (Speed Receiver) 244 TPE
Coming off a great year Arizona traded up to this spot and looks to obtain a star WR in entreri who will be a consistent earner for them to replace their current core which are all experiencing regression along the cycle. Entreri has put out some great media but a little less than some of the other receivers in this class but is still a fantastic earner and has a fair shot to be selected in the first round but with the amount of depth at the wide receiver position I could see a lot of teams waiting on this.
8. Sarasota Salifish
Malik Brooks - AK41 (Receiving Back) 221 TPE
Sarasota looks to make a deadly running back duo with the addition of Malik Brooks who is an active member of the community and could be a great fit to the team. Malik is a recreate with a big bank and who is also part of HO so seeing him go here would be no surprise as he will be highly sought after and with running back not being the strongest this year there is a good chance that he goes earlier than later so that Sarasota can get one of the best backs on the board.
Alternative Picks: Kyle Crane (ultimatedestroye), Emile Charles (Number 82) and Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan)
9. Austin Copperheads
Emile Charles - Number 82 (Speed Receiver) 234 TPE
The Copperheads held off on a WR in the first round but with so many great ones coming off the board they decide to nab a great user while they can. Emile Charles is a recreate who has been a steady earner and already has a little bit of bank built up. With him being a recreate he gets a little bit of a boost in reliability for teams as they know that he will bring a decent amount to the team. I have not talked with him much though, I am sure he is great.
Alternative Picks: Diego Lopez Alonso (DL14), Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan) and Synystyr Gates (Dustillation)
10. Cape Town Crash
Synystyr Gates - Dustillation (Cover Corner) 221 TPE
Gates may not be the most talkative member of the Luchadores but he is a great earner and a sure fire pick if you want a player who will be able to earn his way and be a steady player. Depending on the talks they have with Gates we could really see this pick happening unless they decide to stretch down a bit more.
Alternative Picks: Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan), Bill Cravy (KlausGoatCasinos), and Justin Willis (Cycro)
11. San Jose SaberCats (via Orange County Otters )
Diego Lopez Alonso - DL14 (Slot Receiver) 207 TPE
There is a very good chance Diego goes to the SaberCats but I feel that I am stretching it with this early but I think Russ may not want to pass up on Diego before hes gone. He would be a great presence in just about any locker room and it would probably hurt Russ not to get him so that he can be pinged on the daily. Alonso has been a good earner and holds a league job I believe which will do him some good.
Alternative Picks: Forozka Duanei (BWIII), The Riddler (MattBake12) and Jason Steele (FireworkFuse)
12. Chicago Butchers
Justin Willis - Cycro (Athletic Lineman) 206 TPE
Having a good linemen is never a bad thing and the Butchers decide they need to jump into action for the best OL in the draft which is Cycro. Cycro has released some media and has been fairly active in league chats and has been earning steadily since joining. If the conversation goes right this could be a lock for Chicago.
Alternative Picks: Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan), Bill Cravy (KlausGoatCasinos), and Kyle Crane (UltimateDestroye)
13. Yellowknife Wraiths
Bill Cravy - KlausGoatCasinos (Slot Corner) 218 TPE
I am jumping on the Cravy train! Cravy has some excellent media that makes him a top notch user and can be seen somewhat often in the discord as well. I think this could be a great pick for a team looking for a slot corner as they are so slim in the league overall. This turns out to be an overall great fit as well cause we all know Zoot has been drinking the Cravy-aid a bit too much.
Alternative Picks: Benjamin Duvernay (Purpl3Spartan), Lloyd Bannings (bowl0) and The Riddler (MattBake12)
14. Arizona Outlaws
Burnt Toast - ToastCharger (Possession Tight End) 205 TPE
Arizona is in need of TE with their only rostered TE retiring so we look to see Burnt Toast take over the starting role and maybe we will see a latter role player get drafted to the Outlaws. I do not know much about Toast but he is a recreate so expect him to be knowledgeable and already have an inside on the Outlaws potentially.
Hi if you are reaching the end of this, I was going to write a longer article but some things happened IRL and I did not have the time I wanted to dedicate to this so hopefully you enjoy what I had I got a little lazy towards the end so apologies! This is definitely not my best article but I will have a good one come mid season promise!
Update: idk wtf happened to the color god help me

The Secondline continue to develop their defense with the pick of Claypool II at the 6th pick and this is a position of need for the Secondline.
