Howdy all, welcome to another rule summit results post by me
This season, we only had a Universal ballot, no ISFL or DSFL ballot.
UNIVERSAL
The Universal Ballot consisted of four rule proposals. With a voting party of 33 members (5 ISFL HO members, 5 DSFL HO Members, 1 League Owner, 14 ISFL Teams, 8 DSFL Teams), a proposal needed 24 votes to pass (>70% of the voting party). @SwantyCompleted his vote after the deadline, whilst it will be counted in the tallies, he will be fined $4,000,000 (Standard $2,000,000 that is doubled for being in HO).
Proposal 1 - Both the Ultimini and Ultimus must be streamed at the normal speed at which regular season games are.
26 For - 7 Against
Rule Passes
Proposal 2 - Members of the User HOF cannot win Most Dedicated Member
24 For - 9 Against
Rules Passes
Proposal 3 - Proposal: III.c.7. All trades require approval from every GM involved.
6 For - 27 Against
Rule Does Not Pass
Proposal 4 - Propose VI.B.11- Each team shall have only 12 hours to make its draft pick. If a team fails to make a pick within their 12-hour time window, then that team passes their pick to the next team up, at which point the next team up may make a selection. If a trade occurs, the team that acquired the pick will have a 2 hour extension to the 12 hour window.
Addendum to Rule VI.B.8-
Current Version: Teams are not permitted to “pass” on picks. They must either be traded away, or a pick must be made.
New Version: Teams are not permitted to Voluntarily “pass” on picks. They must either be traded away, or a pick must be made unless they are forced to pass because of rule VI.B.11.
6 For - 27 Against
Rule Does Not Pass
Proposals 1 and 2 have passed, and will go into immediate effect, so the next Championship stream and round of MDM voting will have these rules in effect.
As always, any suggested rule changes or proposals can be brought up to any GM or HO member, as well as posted in the forum or discord suggestion boxes, or even as media/discussion posts as we will always monitor these areas and be made aware of their existence.
