Welcome everyone! As someone new to the professional ranks, I figured right now would be a great time to sit down with all the wonderful members of the media and answer all of those burning questions that I'm sure we all have. I'm open to answering any all questions, life, video games, obviously football, but let's get this party started!
From 101Sports Radio:
Passarelli: These are some good questions, and I appreciate the softball to start things off!
1.Is this your first simulated sports league, and how are you finding things here so far?
Yep, this is my first time in the league and first time in any sort of simulation league. I've been enjoying my time so far. The league officials really have things done up right, and the rest of the players seem easy enough to get along. Shoutout to the rest of the DSFL rookie class this year, they're a great group of players.
2. What are looking forward to the most?
Really, just seeing where my career takes me. I think there's a lot of room for growth out there and it's a matter of finding the right situation with the right team. I'm sure it'll all come together at some point, and when that happens, watch out.
3. Based on team logos only, whats the best team in the DSFL?
Man, this is a tough one. If it's just based on logos, I'd have to immediately go with the the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. Just something about that skull screams, "We're here to win!"
From the NY Tribune:
1. What's your approach to the game when you're off the field? Any particular diet or training routine that helps you stay ahead of the competition?
That's a good question too. I live and breathe football, so if I'm not out there practicing or in game situations, I'm working through playbooks, helping out teammates, you name it. It has anything to do with the game, I'm all about it.
The generic answer here is ice baths, but the real secret, to me, meditation. You've got to find time to center yourself and really make sure you're always dialed in and ready go. It all starts with the mental, and if that ever becomes unbalanced, it's going to affect your play on the field.
2. Stealing from 110 Sports Radio here, based on location only, which DSFL team city would you chose to live in?
Having done my college at Old Dominion, Norfolk has to be the first choice. Love this city, these fans, and being able to transition from college to pros and not having to make a big move would be huge for me and my family. That being said, I'd be grateful to play for any of these organizations, and be part of a winning culture.
From the Tom and Tom Show:
Helluva good name your grandfather had! I'd like to think I'm a good man, but it's all about action and trying to make a difference out there.
I love "Choccy milk"! Best drink after a workout to really get that extra protein. Keep a fridge of that stuff locked away in the gym back at ODU. Never seen a problem it couldn't solve!
