Its that time of year again, the ISFL draft will be happening behind closed door within the next few hours, I hope to somewhat predict how this draft will go down. Hope you enjoy
.
.
.
1oa: Yellowknife Wraiths
.
Selection: LB Oxford Comma@domffl
Yellowknife has a few different holes they were trying to replace in this draft, especially at WR, however at 1oa you have to consider the bpa and that is exactly what Dom is. On his last player he also played for the Wraiths and i am sure that this will be a great user to have back in the canadian north. Domm brings war room experience, high earning, and loyalty to any team he is a part of.
.
.
.
2oa: New Orleans
.
Selection: WR Chopper Donquixote @amjohnson636
The Second line mentioned having viewed this new user on a high level and while they do have a few WRs already in place, they feel that they could potentially figure it out in order to select someone they view as a potentially great new user to add to a young team. I believe that Chopper will be able to make a
tremendous impact to whatever team is able to select him.
.
.
.
3oa: San Jose Sabercats
Selection: WR KrustyKrab Pizza @Dindog
.
The Krusty Krab Pizza, is the Pizza for you and me, The Krusty Krab Pizza, is the Pizza for you and me, The Krusty Krab Pizza, is the Pizza for you and me, Dindog bring both GM and War Room Experience and a willingness to swap to most position making him a pretty elite player to be able to get selected to SJS.
.
.
.
4oa: Chicago Butchers via Cape Town Crash
Selection: WR Silence Suzuka@xenosthelegend
.
The Butchers use the Cape Town pick to select a player who played on Cape Town/Philly on his last two players. The Butchers could always use more WRs and Xenos can come in and be a big part of their team for a long time. The fans in chicago are hoping that Silence can make a loud impact
.
.
.
5oa: Chicago Butchers
Selection: CB Devin Jones @Drizzy
.
Drizzy is a long time player in the league whose had multiple players over his time in the league. The butchers have mentioned that they are hoping to get a top CB and that Drizzy on paper would potentially be a perfect selections for their needs.
.
.
.
6oa: New York Silverbacks
Selection: RB Corey Trevor @DigDoug11
.
The Silverbacks have a desperate need to get younger on the offense and DigDoug is an exciting young RB who will be able to eventually take the number 1 RB spot from Dux at some point but in the mean time will have to wait for his time in the Trailor park
.
.
.
7oa: Yellowknife Wraiths
Selection: S Drake Wane @Amkamkamk
.
With a few aging people in their secondary they look to snag a new user in Amkamkamk who has been a pretty exciting new user and would be an amazing pick for the Otters at this stage of the draft
.
.
.
8oa: Berlin Fire Salamanders
Selection: S PeePee Poop-Eater Jr. @Nathan
.
The Fire Salamander Secondary is very old at this point with only one member of their secondary so they take someone who has a legacy in the ISFL, the Poop-Eater Family is one of the greatest in ISFL history and Berlin hopes to capitlize on this. The User behind Poop-Eater, is Nathan or Atox, who spent his entire career in berlin and likely will be happy to do so again on this player
.
.
.
9oa: New Orleans Second Line (Via Baltimore)
Selection: DT Leo Simon Schwartz @griis
.
The Outlaws use their second first rounder to help booster their DL by picking Leo Simon Schwartz from user Griis. The Outlaws are hoping that LSS can be the long term replacement too the inactive James Batista and they will be thrilled to she a user that fits them so well both on and off the field
.
.
.
10oa: Arizona Outlaws
Selection: RB Purdy mediocre @KaleSalad
.
Kale is forcing his way back to Arizona, so this should be a easy pick for the outlaws. They will be happy to get a user they know so well back on their team and who can eventually be the next Arizona Great Running back
.
.
.
11oa: Honolulu Hahalua via Yeti
Selection KP Hearty Harry @frazzle14
.
Honolulu is one of the more competitive teams in the league in recent history, so they are hoping that selecting a user like Frazzle would be an excellent choice with his expeirence as a former GM and his willingness to be open about where he plays
.
.
.
12oa: Honolulu Hahalua
S Miller Light @crow19
.
With their second first rounder the Hahalua decide that its miller time. They will be picking a user that can hopefully keep their DB group thriving as they begin to age. The Hahalua are thrilled to land a user like this at this point in thte draft
.
.
.
—-----------------------------------------------New Two Picks are still up in the air-----------------------------------------------------
13/14oa Sarasota Sailfish
Selection: LB Léopold Roy @Gordon Bombay
.
With Roy trying to force his way to a small list of teams, Sarasota luck out as the one who has the picks and non other commitment to select this user with their pick. They will be able to bloster their LB core with this selection
.
.
.
13/14oa: Austin Cooperheads
Selection: RB Seventh Rounder @ElMerchanto
.
The Cooperheads will use their late first rounder to select the future successor to their two headest RB attack as they are both starting to age a bit. While some might say its a reach to select a user who is a Seventh Rounder in the first i am sure Austin will be thrilled to be able to land someone like him at this stage of the draft
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that concludes my mock draft, I got this out slightly later then before due to laziness / life but hopefully you can enjoy it. If you are a GM this might help u gage what the value of certain users are and maybe give u some advice, if you are a user inthis draft i hope this helps gets you excited, and if you are anyone else thanks for reading.
Also again, this draft was created with a the thoughts of other GMs, to help me, there is a high chance that teams might do something different to cause a domino effect, or might trade up or down and change everything, but with that being said i wanted to make sure that everyone who was or wasnt selected to know that it does not matter where you were drafted it matters what you do with it afterwards. This was a fun exercise and i hope to do it again next season
