*this is only regular season points*
Hiya Raven here coming at you today with a fun little life time kicker point ranking for the NSFL. In which I`ll rank the players based on how many total points they have accumulated over the years in their career. I`ll be taking a look at ever kicker who has atleast played one game. So rip all those kickers out there who have never played a game.
I`m going to start off with the players with the lowest points and build up the suspence of going up to the player with the most amount of points in their career so far. So let's get started right nooooow!
So first up are ofcourse going to mostly be kickers who have probably played the least amount of games. This could be inactive kickers from long ago or kicker who have recently come to the league.
Rashad Tarkenton - 6 games - XP: 9/10 - FG: 9/16 - Total: 36 points
XP (x1): 9
FG (x3): 27
Total: 27 + 9 = 36 points
Tarkenton has played the least amount of games of any kicker who has played in the NSFL. In those 6 games he was able to score 9 times of each of the extra point and field goal. Tarkenton played 6 games in the first ever NSFL season and played all these games for the Orange County Otters.
J. Langdon - 14 games - XP: 19/19 - FG: 21/29 - Total: 82 points
XP (x1): 19
FG (x3): 63
Total: 63 + 19 = 82 points
Langdon played in season two and played for the Orange County Otters. Those Otters sure love to use a differnt kicker every season. Langdon scored a perfect extra point record in his only NSFL season, but had a little less luck with the field goals.
Adrienne Nugent - 20 games - XP: 36/38 - FG: 16/33 - Total: 84 points
XP (x1): 36
FG (x3): 48
Total: 48 + 36 = 84 points
Nugent played about one and a half season in the league. Playing their first season for the Outlaws and playing 6 games with the Sabercats in the season season. Nugent had a knack for extra points, but their field goal total left much to be desired. In 20 games they have the 3rd least amount of points for kickers.
Wayne Gooney - 14 games - XP: 22/23 - FG: 22/23 - Total: 88 points
XP (x1): 22
FG (x3): 66
Total: 66 + 22 = 88 points
Wayne Gooney set a very nice record in season 4. Going both 22 for 23 in his extra point attempts and field goals. They played their games in Las Vegas for the Legion. If Gooney can keep up these kind of numbers he might become one of the best kickers in the league, but he is still young and only time will tell how this young guy develops, but he has set a very nice rookie season.
Bradley T Madlad - 14 games - XP: 50/51 - FG: 21/31- Total: 113 points
XP (x1): 50
FG (x3): 63
Total: 63 + 50 = 113 points
Rookie Bradley T Madlad set two records in his rookie season. One for most extra point attempts in a season and one for most extra point attempts scored in a season. Having 51 attempts and banging home 50 of those. This goes to show how dominate the Otters offense was this season, but also shows how good of a player this rookie is. His field goal percentage was not as good as his extra point this season, but with work on his power and accuracy that will surely rise in the future.
Brandon Walsh - 22 games - XP: 37/38 - FG: 29/33 - Total: 124 points
XP (x1): 37
FG (x3): 87
Total: 87 + 37 = 124 points
Walsh is an interesting story he had a great season in Orange County during the first NSFL season, but got replaced by Tarkenton halfway through the season. Then he was an FA in season two and then in season three he got picked by the Legion. Here he played a full season, before being dropped back down again to make room for Gooney. For a kicker with only 50 tpe I think he's been one of the most consistent inactive kickers. Only missing 1 extra point attempt and 4 field goals in his 22 game career. Not too shabby if you ask me. Walsh seems to be able to help any team get those extra points if given the chance.
Joseph Lombardi - 18 games - XP: 39/42 - FG: 30/35 - Total: 129 points
XP (x1): 39
FG (x3): 90
Total: 90 + 39 = 129 points
Lombardi started his first starter kicker season in season four for the Yellowknife Wraiths. While in season three he had already played 4 games as a reserve kicker. With only 18 games played Lombardi has already set a nice point total for himself. He had 38 extra point attempt last season and with the Wraiths getting stronger and stronger I feel like if he keeps up form he's going to be banging alot of extra point home next season.
Al Sims - 17 games - XP: 55/57 - FG: 26/28 - Total: 133 points
XP (x1): 55
FG (x3): 78
Total: 78 + 55 = 133 points
It's crazy to think some of these players aren't in the NSFL anymore while having such great percentages. Sims is another one of these players. While not active his 125 tpe isn't too bad and his kicker records shows that. Only having missed 4 kicks in his life. Sims was the kicker for the Otters in a the last part of season two and the whole of season 3. In season 4 getting replaced by Madlad. Would Sims have hit 50/51 extra point attempts? I guess the world will never know. Anyways Sims is happily doing kicker stuff in the DSFL now.
Kentillan Laces - 22 games - XP: 36/38 - FG: 38/48 - Total: 150 points
XP (x1): 36
FG (x3): 114
Total: 114 + 36 = 150
Laces was the kicker for the San Jose Sabercats in season one and half of season two. Before being replaced by Nugent. An extra point slayer his field goals needed some work. Maybe that's why the Sabercats decided to replace him. Although he missed 4 field goals in 8 games, Nugent also missed 3 in the 6 games he took over from Laces.
Iyah Blewitt - 42 games - XP: 88/94 - FG: 64/82 - Total: 280 points
XP (x1): 88
FG (x3): 192
Total: 192 + 88 = 280
A big jump in point total here. We leave behind all the players who have played one or one and a half season and go to the players with 3 or more season experience.
Iyah Blewitt started his career playing for the Las Vegas Legion, but has since that second season moved to the San Jose Sabercats where he played the 3rd and 4th NSFL season. Fied goals have always seem like Blewitts Achilles' heel. Having missed 18 in his life. However his FG% has been getting better by the season. So maybe he has overcome that heel. It will be interesting to see his FG% in the upcoming season.
Stephan Harris - 42 games - XP: 83/86 - FG: 69/78 - Total: 290 points
XP (x1): 83
FG (x3): 207
Total: 207 + 83 = 290
Harris played a punter role in season one, but after moving to the Philadelphia Liberty in season 2 he took on the starter kicker role. One of the finer extra point takers in the league, Harris has only missed 3 extra point attempts in his 3 season being a starter kicker. Harris had some trouble with field goals early on, but has yet mastered them. Having a 100% field goal percentage in season 4 with is unheard of. Harris is the only kicker to both have scored a 100% extra point rate and a 100% field goal rate. Aswell as being the only kicker with a 100% field goal percentage. Harris is an elite kicker which will please the crowd in Philly for a long time coming.
Bojo Kicksit - 56 games - XP: 86/95 - FG: 69/84 - Total: 293 points
XP (x1): 86
FG (x3): 207
Total: 207 + 86 = 293
Kicksit is one of the two players in the league who has played in all the NSFL season to date. He is also the second player in the league to currently have 69 (nice) scored field goals. He sits 4th in the list of kickers and total points. I always used to joke that his name should actually be Bojo Kickshit, but his kicker is actually pretty alright. Missing 9 extra point attempts in 4 season, aswell as missing 15 field goal attempts in 4 season. Field goals always seems to be a hard one for kickers to get, so he's been doing aight!
Archibald Booter - 42 games - XP: 81/90 - FG: 71/85 - Total: 294 points.
XP (x1): 81
FG (x3): 213
Total: 213 + 81 = 294
Booter is one of the best kickers to date to retire. Being the second kicker ever to retire. He sits 3rd overall in points with only 42 games played with is crazy. He will probably lose this postion next season however with 3 players being only a few points behind him. Missing an avg of 3 extra point attempts a season and about 5ish field goals per season he had good ratios.
Cristiano Ronaldo - 42 games - XP: 129/133 - FG: 88/99 - Total: 393 points
XP (x1): 129
FG (x3): 264
Total: 264 + 129 = 393
With a jump of nearly 100 points we arrive at second placed Ronaldo. While I personally have always liked Messi better than Ronaldo, Ronaldo is the best kicker in the league over the last few season. To have accumulated this many points and solid percentages over the course of only 3 seasons is mad. Only missing 4 extra points and 11 field goals. Ronaldo will most likely take over the spot for kicker with the most points next season as I don't see this train of a player slowing down. The outlaws are an offensive monster so extra points will be many and plently.
Turk Turkleton - 56 games - XP: 109/118 - FG: 99/113 - Total 406 points
XP (x1): 109
FG (x3): 297
Total: 297 + 109 = 406
So at first overall for kicker points we have Turk Turkleton. Turkleton had a horrible Season 4. Missing 5 field goals, before this season he had only missed 4 total. Field goals were a worry for Turkleton as he kept missing more and more each season, but this season he kept it at 2 missed. Turkleton holds the record for furthest field goal kicked at 61 yards and will most likely also be the first kicker to reach 100 field goal attempts scored. An will almost guaranteed be knocked of first place total points by Ronaldo.
Ranking overview: (FG + XP)

Hot takes for next season (warning maybe not too hot):
- Christiano Ronaldo will over take Turkleton and lead the total point list
- Turk Turkleton will be the first player to hit 100 total field goals scored. Christiano Ronaldo will follow up after him.
- Blewitt, Harris and Kicksit will overtake Booter. With Blewitt taking 3rd and Harris taking 4th. Bumping Booter down to 6th.
- Blewitt, Harris and Kicksit will reach 100 career extra points hit.
- Madlad will rise to 7th overall next season. With Gooney just behind him at 8th overall.
- Rookie kicker Dean jackson will come into the league and tear it up. Depending on where he lads.
- Harris will have another 100% year in either Extra Points or Field goals.
- Not a hot take, but Turkleton will have another poopy season extra points or field goals.
