Here are record predictions for every team and my (probably wrong) Ultimus Prediction.
Austin Copperheads - 6-7
@NOLA - L
@AZ - L
vs. OCO - L
@SJS - W
vs. BAL - L
@OCO - L
vs. SJS - W
vs. NOLA - W
@CHI - W
vs. AZ - L
@COL - W
vs. YKW - L
vs. PHI - W
I don't know if I'm being too harsh here but this schedule just seems really rough, Austin is a team on the rise but they play in the league's best conference and it's hard to make waves when that is the case.
Colorado Yeti - 3-11
vs. PHI - W
@BAL - L
vs. CHI - W
@NOLA - L
vs. YKW - L
@CHI - W
vs. BAL - L
@PHI - L
@YKW - L
@OCO - L
vs. AUS - L
vs. AZ - L
@SJS - L
I know this is harsh on the Yeti, but the end of their season is absolutely brutal. Philly, YKW, and Orange County all on the road in 3 straight weeks is certainly 3 losses. I think the yeti will pick up a win in one of the 7 straight losses I have them slated for, but it's too random for me to call it and it doesn't look good for them in any of those games, the closest I think the get is in the game against Austin.
San Jose Sabercats - 4-9
@OCO - L
vs. NOLA - W
@YKW - L
vs. AUS - L
@AZ - L
@NOLA - L
@AUS - L
vs. AZ - L
vs. OCO - L
vs. BAL - L
vs. CHI - W
@PHI - W
vs. COL - W
Someone please let me know if I'm stupid because it seems like a lot of these teams stand no chance.
Philadelphia Liberty - 4-9
@COL - L
vs. OCO - W
vs. BAL - L
vs. YKW - L
@CHI - W
vs. AZ - L
@NOLA - L
vs. COL - W
@BAL - L
vs. CHI - W
@YKW - L
vs. SJS - L
@AUS - L
Philadelphia improves a little bit off of last season but they have a ways to go before they are back in the Ultimus.
Arizona Outlaws - 12-2
@CHI - W
vs. AUS - W
@NOLA - W
@OCO - L
vs. SJS - W
@PHI - W
vs. OCO - W
@SJS - W
vs. NOLA - W
@AUS - W
vs. BAL - L
@COL - W
vs. YKW - W
I promise I'm being unbiased. The Outlaws have a relatively easy schedule this season, as they play the hardest NSFC opponents at home. Their hardest game of the year is by far their game against OCO on the road.
Baltimore Hawks - 12-2
vs. YKW - W
vs. COL - W
@PHI - W
@CHI - W
@AUS - W
@YKW - L
@COL - W
vs. CHI - W
vs. PHI - W
@SJS - W
@AZ - W
vs. NOLA - W
vs. OCO - L
Yup there's 2 of them.
Orange County Otters - 10-3
vs. SJS - W
@PHI - L
@AUS - W
vs. AZ - W
vs. NOLA - W
vs. AUS - W
@AZ - L
@YKW - L
@SJS - W
vs. COL - W
@NOLA - W
vs. CHI - W
@BAL - W
Otters do Otter things. I think their worst season was like 7-7.
Yellowknife Wraiths - 12-2
@BAL - L
vs. CHI - W
vs. SJS - W
@PHI - W
@COL - W
vs. BAL - W
@CHI - W
vs. OCO - W
vs. COL - W
@NOLA - W
vs. PHI - W
@AUS - W
@AZ - L
Lose the first, lose the last. Yellowknife and Baltimore are gonna need a tiebreaker for HFA.
New Orleans Second Line - 5-8
vs. AUS - W
@SJS -L
vs. AZ - L
vs. COL - W
@OCO - L
vs. SJS - W
vs. PHI - W
@AUS - L
@AZ - L
vs. YKW - L
vs. OCO -L
@BAL - L
@CHI -W
NOLA just loses out to Austin for the last playoff spot.
Chicago Butchers - 0-13
vs. AZ - L
@YKW - L
@COL - L
vs. BAL - L
vs. PHI - L
vs. COL - L
vs. YKW - L
@BAL - L
vs. AUS - L
@PHI - L
@SJS - L
@OCO - L
vs. NOLA - L
I promise you, I didn't make this article just to make fun of the Butchers. When they were created, they sold out for an Ultimus and their gamble didn't pay off. Now, the team is a bunch of 3-400 TPE guys led by a couple people with around 8-900 TPE. This was a team desperate for youth and in one of the biggest draft classes ever, there was ample opportunity. Unfortunately for Chicago, they only picked up 1-2 players who will make meaningful contributions. I'm sure they will pick up some sim luck and get a win, but they aren't looking good.
ULTIMUS PREDICTION
