A few days away from his first game on the NSFL, Jay Cue is here for his first press conference.
I think I am well prepared. I just maxed out the most important stats for QBs, but those are only 90 Max in my build. I do know that I'll reach the first game with 660 TPE +/-, and for the first time I'll be playing against defenders with TPE than my player. It's gonna be fun to see how he performs, but I'm not expecting to be a game decider for the positive. I just hope i don't throw that many picks and our defense and running game can decide the game in our favor.
But we all know how the sim acts up sometimes... so who knows? I might have the perfect build for the game!
The pressure exists for sure. But i feel it exists in a good way. Reese was one of the most known QBs in the league, MVP winner, so the one that follows will always be looked at with interest.
We're 2 completely different players, so don't expect the numbers Reese managed, but maybe I can counter that with some more running yards and TDs. But yeah, if i have a career similar to the one Reese had, Arizona will be very happy.
I have to say that I'm really looking forward to face my fellow S18ers, Abernathy, Purchase, Rector and Little IV. Every single one of them are, like me, on the top regarding TPE, so it's gonna be fun to play against them.
I loved my time at Portland. I did not love my time in the DSFL, if that makes sense. 3 seasons it's a long long time, but as a QB I knew it would happen. The GMs, Saba, Huskies and now Toasty know a lot about the game and spend a lot of time trying to make the best of what they have. I have the utmost respect for anyone who puts up with GMing in this league, but on the DSFL things are different. You can bet all on a new player, and he gets inactive right away and you need to find a solution.
I did not see eye to eye with them on every decision, but in the end, they make the rules and I'm here only to do my tasks and update.
Outside of the GMs, a big shout to every other player that helped me get some records and decent performances, GvE, O'Leary, Kacey Dream (you owe me 1 MVP award), Leonard, and all the others who played with me.
If i recreate (definitely not as QB), I'll be on the Pythons again.
