Hi.
I loaded up the W11 file, hit sim season twice, wrote down the final standings. I did that 100 times.
Here are the tallies:
NSFC
1: COL(65)YKW(35)
2. YKW(65)COL(32)BAL(3)
3. BAL(94)PHI(3)COL(3)
ASFC
1.AUS(68)OCO(30)NO(2)
2.OCO(63)AUS(26)NO(11)
3.NO(60)SJS(27)OCO(7)AUS(6)
1oa: CHI(100)
2oa: PHI(57)AZ(22)SJS(18)BAL(3)
3oa: SJS(34)AZ(34)PHI(32)
4oa: AZ(44)NO(27)SJS(21)PHI(8)
Pretty self-explanatory, I think.
Here are the tallies organized by team:
65% 1seed, 32% 2seed, 3% 3seed
65% 2seed, 35% 1seed
94% 3seed, 3% 2seed, 3% 2oa
57% 2oa, 32% 3oa, 8% 4oa, 3% 3seed (soyouretellingmetheresachance.gif)
100% 1oa (congrats otters...)
68% 1seed, 26% 2seed, 6% 3seed
63% 2seed, 30% 1seed, 7% 3seed
60% 3seed, 27% 4oa, 11% 2seed, 2% 1seed
34% 3oa, 27% 3seed, 21% 4oa, 18% 2oa
44% 4oa, 34% 3oa, 22% 2oa
We pretty much know who's in the playoffs in NSFC. (COME ON PHILLY) The battle for that 1st seed between the Yeti & Wraiths will be good. Apparently the Yeti have the tiebreaker. Hawks almost have the third seed locked down (COME ON PHILLY). I think the Hawks have the tiebreaker on the Yeti. Liberty are probably picking 2oa or 3oa. Butchers are dead last.
The playoff hunt in the ASFC is a bit more interesting. Copperheads impressively swept the Otters and thus are more likely to get the bye. Otters have clinched a playoff spot, at least, thanks to sweeping the Sabercats and having the better conference record than the Outlaws. Now the Second Line are more likely than not making the playoffs. However they did get swept by the Sabercats, so they need to just stay ahead of them to clinch. NOLA even have a slight chance of getting that 1 seed, surprisingly. Sabercats have the most evenly distributed probabilities. Seems odd they are more likely to be 3oa than 4oa, but that's because 'Zona has the mysterious tiebreaker. Outlaws aren't actually eliminated from playoff contention, they can still pass NOLA and SJS completely, just never happened in these 100 sims. (It seriously helps make things clear when the last 2 weeks are all inter-conference games, even if it makes for sorta less exciting matchups)
Anyway hope that was interesting. Obviously this is before updates and who knows what strats are used for these last 2 games. Also I figured this fit more here than regular 'ol media, but this was a bit too intensive to just tweet or something. And of course, like doing a mock draft the night before the draft is streamed, this is gonna be all obsolete in like 21 hours.
Thanks for reading!
