Hey y’all! I was lucky enough to chop it up with this young stud S23 prospect.
He gave me some kick ass background info!
Eric's dad, Dean, was a cornerback for Kentucky before he tore his knee apart in his senior season. He will dedicate his play to the dream he never got to finish
Eric's mom was actually a Kentucky Cheerleader and that's how his parents met
Eric wasn't heavily recruited after high school because of the small school he was at, so he went to Kentucky and made his legacy there
Eric Richards Jerseys were quite popular in Kentucky
And finally, Eric once hit a QB so hard he quit the next day
Here’s the pre-draft interview stuff!
**What’s been the biggest challenge for you in your rookie season?**
The biggest challenge so far is making a Wiki, but I'll get through it just never did anything like that before
**What do you look forward to in S22?**
I am definitely looking forward to showing everyone what a big old Kentucky boy can do. I nearly set the record for tackle by a linebacker at Kentucky but was stopped just short due to missing a few tackles, but I am definitely ready to set records with the team I will be drafted by.
**What’s your favorite thing about the league thus far?**
My favorite thing about the league so far is exploring my creativity with my players
**What round do you see yourself being drafted?**
I see myself being drafted hopefully before the 4th round, but whatever I am drafted, I will play hard to prove it was a good decision.
**What makes you marketable?**
You can market me as a blue collar Kentucky boy. I love sports of all kinds, but football us my absolute favorite. I am a blue blooded LB from the Bluegrass State
I am trying to work on marketing myself to make myself marketable. I am still trying to figure it out.
**Being drafted in what round would be a disappointment to you, and how would you handle that situation?**
Being drafted in the rounds after the 4th would be a disappointment, but I will try my absolute best to prove everyone wrong if I do.
Thanks for checking this out yo! Keep an eye out for this young stud up and comer!!
