Who is going to draft Xander Creed? Im going to be lookingnat each team and discussing why they do or do not draft me. Im not doing each team in any kind of order but just working my way down. I will rank each team if i think they will draft me on a 1-5 basis, 1 being extremely unlikely, 5 being extremely likely. This is also entirely my own speculation, ive been scouted by a few teams but have no clue where ill actually go.
Starting with the SFC.
- Bondi Beach -
• Why they do - I think the buccaneers would draft me because they will likely be needing another running back. I am not sure if one of their backs, Chungus, or Ozymandias is getting called up or not, if they do I think the bucs take a running back. 2 is always better than 1 when it comes to running backs so i dont think they will want to miss out on having a second back that earns well and is active. Then again theyvhavent scouted me yet socits hard to say and i also dont really know their other needs, so I think it is at least slightly unlikely I go to Bondi Beach. But anything could happen.
Bondi Beach likelihood - 2 out of 5. I just dont think they will take an RB in the earlier rounds unless both of their active RBs get called up and I want to convince myself i wont fall to the later rounds. Bht there is still a slight chance because until all if the call ups are made we wont know the true needs of many teams.
- Norfolk -
• This is an interesting topic here. First overall pick in the draft, their current RB Mr. Forty-Two led the league in rushing yards, but with noone to back him up his ypc suffered immensely at just 3.8. I think a second RB is going to be on the board for Norfolk, but with so many other needs I dont think they take one very early. If I fall into later rounds it is very very possible since they have scouted me and Ive spent some time in their locker room. But still I cant imagine them taking me as the 1st overall, since I believe they have other areas they need to fill with more urgency.
Norfolk Likelihood 2 out of 5. Its very possible, but I think they will fill other more needed areas first, as they have a solid RB currently, a backup isnt as important as starters in other positions will be. I think it is a pretty good landing spot that would take me in the draft, though it would probably be 2nd or third round. If they take me 1OA I will be quite surprised, but incredibly happy!
- Dallas -
• This is one that I think is more unlikely than some of the others. One of the teams that has scouted, though they have Cobra Kai on the roster fresh off of his award winning season, and Miglaskems to back him up i think they are set in the running back department and likely wont be looking to use a draft pick on a third running back when they have plenty of other needs. Again like the others anything could happen, but the first team on the list with two running backs on the roster is going to be the most unlikely so far.
Dallas Likelihood 2 out of 5. Its not that I dont think Dallas would want me on the team, Its that I think they are very unlikely to need to draft a running back, especially in earlier rounds. Though I wouldnt be mad if they surprised me here, splitting carries with Cobra Kai wouldnt be a bad gig!
- Tijuana -
• This is a team that I think depends ENTIRELY on call ups. If Bronco Mills is called up then its very very possible they take an RB in round one or two. The good thing for me is that even if he stays down their backup is a bot so there is a chance for RB 2 for them if Mills stays down another season. The problem is what are they going to take in round one? They will probably need a quarterback which is going to be a more urgent need to take sooner. So the chamce they get me would be most likely in round two or three and since this draft has decent amount of talent its entirely possible that they could get me around then depending on how the first few rounds go.
Tijuana Likelihood 3 out of 5. I think its in the realm of possibility that Mills gets called up and if he does they will urgently need two very important positions or else they see the season seriously in jeapordy. I think Tijuana takes a QB and an RB relatively early, within the first 3 rounds so it is entirely possible that they pick me up with one of their picks. The chance isnt feeling that high, but it is entirely possible and within the realm of possibility in my mind. We will just have to wait and see how the draft goes since they are the defending champs they have a later pick.
Now its time to do the SFC
- London -
• The royals very well could be in dire need of a running back. If Yaki is called up they would have a bot leading the backfield and that is definitely not ideal. I think the Royals will take a running back in this class, though who and when is very unclear. I am not sure how the rest of their needs fall into place with preference and who they are eying more than others. But it is a decently likely landing spot, especially if teri yaki is called up to the big leagues. An added bonus with my render the college unis are the same color so i could give somebody easy money for sigs lmao
London likelihood 3 out of 5. I gave a 3 because if yaki stays down i might be out of luck. But if he goes up then id say itd be closer to a 4 to take a running back, and the only running im discussing in this article is myself even though there are a few other good ones in this class I dont know which will be taken first and all those details im not covering in this article.
- Minnesota -
• This feels like the most likely place I would end up. Only because i was on the team already on waivers, and out of every team they will probably need a running back the most. With Mike Rotchburns called up to nola the backfield is empty. I wouldnt be surprised if we saw two rbs off the board in minnesota. There are other needs though, and other running backs so it is still hard to say but I believe it is probably pretty likely since i was already on the team for a time.
Minnesota Likelihood 4 out of 5. Like i said, they need a running back, i currently have the most tpe of the running backs and was already on the team last season due to waivers. I cant say it is a certainty with a 5 because anything could happen, but if they decide rb is the most urgently needed position then it becomes more likely.
- Kansas City -
• I have had some good talks with Kansas City so far. I like the locker room a lot and they are likely going to need at least an rb2 for the season. If kitchens gets called up i think my chances of going to kc are actually decently high. The bad thing about this whole thing is that I dont know who is getting called up and who is staying down so really every team could potentially need a running back. I think if they do need a running back in Kansas City that I will be high on the list but there are a couple good rbs in the class so you never who they might like peraonality wise. Still I like the odds here and think it is a pretty good chance. An added bonus for KC, my favorite color is purple.
Kansas City draft Likelihood 3.8 out of 5. I like the odds here, i think if it was specific the chances very slightly less than Minnesota because Minnesota does not have a single running back. If Kitchens is called up then my odds here improve greatly, but same with other teams thwy still would probably like to have a second running back on the roster to run backfield by committee and improve those yards per carry and efficiency by the backs.
- Portland -
• With Pama the only RB I think Portland might be in great need for a running back. I do not know if hes been called up or not, but I think I heard somewhere that he was. If not im uncertain, because Christiansen is in the FB spot and could fill in as the running back, im not sure what his real position is but if it isnt running back then again my odds improve. If Pama is called up I definitely could see myself going to portland, and with a talented young quarterback thwy will need a run game to help the young QB out. I think its a decent chance, but all depends on call ups and what they view as the most important position of need for this draft. Without Pama I think RB would be high on the list, but im not in the circle of knowledge on any of this its just speculation. As always anything could happen.
Portland odds 3 out of 5. I think portland could very well need a running back, but the killer of this article is that every team pretty much has one running back and my chances of going to that team are reliant on whether or not that running back gets called up. If my dreams of going in the first round are to be true, a few teams either need to decide a second running back is most important and draft me over other positins of need, or their running backs need to get called up to the pros to provide an extra push making them take a running back. I think if Pama gets called up then Portland could see that second option become a reality.
In conclusion just about every team needs a running back in some form, either that or they use a bot instead of a true RB2. Also a very likely option for some teams. Some teams need it more than others, hard to tell truly which ones need it more because all of the callups havent happened yet. And of course its all speculation because I have no idea if a team needs a running back, but like another guy better, or if they simply dont think its important to draft at the moment. Only time will tell. But i dont know about you, im excited to find out.
