Well it’s that time of year again, time for the mock drafts to come flooding in! I thought I would make my own as a way to make money and finally give my player the respect he deserves!
Disclaimer
The picks I made for this mock draft are based on a combination of the following: Rusfan need, the amount of the player's Rusfanness, and the size of the player's Name (exe-Rusfan). The picks do not factor in other players.
01.01 (01): COL — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
The Yeti find themselves with a sudden need at receiver with the retirement of Raphael Delacour and who better to pick than a player they know all too well who played for them last time? It’s a perfect fit and the Yeti fill an important need.
01.02 (02): AUS — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Austin had one of the worst offenses in the league last season and look to boost their star QB with an important weapon on the boundary who will be a fixture on their team for years to come.
01.03 (03): NYS — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
New York is a big city with bright lights and who better to pick to draw crowds than a star receiver who can allow Savage to age gracefully into retirement?
01.04 (04): NOLA — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
The worst passing offense in the league last season belonged to Louisiana and there’s one sure fire way to give an anemic offense some life and that’s to grab a future HOF talent at the receiver position in the first round.
01.05 (05): CHI(from SAR) — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Chicago’s failure in the passing game is what cost them a spot in the Ultimus against Honolulu and they make sure that their failure is not repeated by grabbing a future all-pro here in the first round to catch passes from Oles in his last few seasons.
01.06 (06): BER — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Berlin just barely missed a spot in the playoffs last season finishing 8-8 with the second to last passing yards per game in the league. They make sure to push themselves over the hump for the next season by grabbing a pro bowl talent at the receiver position.
01.07 (07): SJS — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
With the likely departure of Sam The Onion Man after the season, SJS makes sure to preemptively fill that gap with the top receiver available in the class in Mandrews McHollywood.
01.08 (08): PHI — WR Mandrews
McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
There’s an old saying in football: “you can never have enough weapons.” Or maybe that’s in war…..regardless Philly continues to load up and develop their receiving core for Ryan Negs as Philly looks to improve on their 3rd worst passing game from a season before.
01.09 (09): YKW — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Coming up just one yard shy of a spot in the championship round has to be painful. You know how to fix that? You go and grab the fastest receiver in the class and one of the fastest players in that same class. Parmelee gets himself a dedicated slot receiver.
01.10 (10): OCO — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Orange County slipped and fell out of the playoffs against Arizona, notorious playoff chokers, and burning from that shameful embarrassment they vow to never be outscored again. Grabbing another offensive weapon will certainly help with that, and OCO locks up a spot in next years postseason.
01.11 (11): CHI — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
After already having the chance to grab one great receiver, Chicago double dips and grabs yet another one in an effort to break the points record. Some may question the lack of defense but it’ll be hard to argue with when Chicago is dropping 50 points a week.
01.12 (12): ARI — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Arizona broke the playoff losing streak against the Otters but fell against the Hahalua by 6 points. One more touchdown would’ve been the difference and the Outlaws go and draft that extra score a game by grabbing the most explosive receiver in the class.
01.13 (13): NOLA (from BAL) — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
Some may be surprised by the lack of a Norfolk or Tijuana player going to NOLA here, but talent trumps any pipeline and the Secondline make sure to grab a premium talent here at the back end of the first.
01.14 (14): HON — WR Mandrews McHollywood (KCC) @Rusfan
The rich just keep getting richer as the Ultimus champion Hahalua go out and continue to build a dominant offense to pair with their historic defense and continue to win Ultimuses with a star receiver pick here at the end of the first round.
