An In Depth Analysis of the S37 Draft Class and Team Needs
I'm bored, so I decided to make an in-depth analysis of the S37 ISFL Draft Class. I will be covering each positions rankings. The ranking inside the parenthesis is the players overall ranking.
Quarterback
Rankings:
Teams looking for a QB:
Arizona Outlaws (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks
Chicago Butchers
Honolulu Hahalua
New York Silverbacks (low priority)
Orange County Otters (low priority)
Analysis:
This is a very very strong QB class, 6 Quarterbacks in the top 16 is probably unheard of in any other draft class. Delores Bickerman is the number one draft prospect on my big board after leading the Luchadores to the Ultimini in their rookie season. Adrian St. Christmas and Nova Montagne also put together solid campaigns. Grayson Yates, and Brock Landers Jr. Project to be very promising Quarterbacks in the league. While Preston Beatz only played 1 game at QB, he also projects to be a top Quarterback in the league.
Running Back
Rankings:
Teams looking for a RB:
Arizona Outlaws
Austin Copeprheads (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks (low priority)
Chicago Butchers (medium priority)
Sarasota Sailfish
Analysis:
There are some good pieces here. Danny Ndelko is projected to be a 1st round draft pick. Michael Touchback will need another season in the DSFL, but is also projected to be an ISFL starter in time. Blibby Shpoopy, Aaron Ford, and Dobromil Dvorak all project to be role players in the ISFL, but may prove me wrong.
Wide Receiver
Rankings:
Teams looking for a WR:
Arizona Outlaws (low priority)
Austin Copperheads (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks (low priority)
Berlin Fire Salamanders
Chicago Butchers
Colorado Yeti (low priority)
Orange County Otters (low priority)
Sarasota Sailfish (low priority)
San Jose Sabercats
Analysis:
This is a very top heavy Wide Receiver class. Matthew Mara, Dip Dhillon, and Rocky Moreaux all project to be superstars at the next level. Luther Vox will need another season or two in the DSFL to be a threat in the ISFL. Orion Jasper, Cornelius King III, and Mickey Lauvin project to be role players, but again the bottom 4 have the potential to prove me wrong.
Tight End:
Ranking:
Teams looking for a TE:
Austin Copperheads
Chicago Butchers
New York Silverbacks
Analysis:
Only 1 TE here. Cardorino Tarotino projects to be a role player at the next level.
Offensive Line
Ranking:
Teams looking for OL:
Arizona Outlaws (low priority)
Austin Copperheads (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks (medium priority)
Berlin Fire Salamanders (high priority)
Chicago Butchers (medium priority)
Colorado Yeti (high priority)
Honolulu Hahalua (medium priority)
New Orleans Second Line (medium priority)
New York Silverbacks (high priority)
Orange County Otters (high priority)
Sarasota Sailfish (medium priority)
San Jose Sabercats (low priority)
Yellowknife Wraiths (high priority)
Analysis:
Every team except Philadelphia has some need at Offensive Line. Dusty Wilson and Brandon Mason project to be solid starters. Yummy HotDogPie might need another couple seasons before becoming ISFL ready.
Defensive End
Ranking:
Teams looking for DE:
Arizona Outlaws
Chicago Butchers
Colorado Yeti
Honolulu Hahalua (low priority)
New Orleans Second Line
New York Silverbacks
Orange County Otters
Philadelphia Liberty
Analysis:
A very solid draft class. Bay Webb projects to be a superstar at the next level, and will easily be a first round prospect. Stryker Brown, Da’Squarius Green V, Thwoomp, and Matthew Mayhem all project to be starters at the next level.
Defensive Tackle
Ranking:
There are no Defensive Tackles in this draft class.
Teams looking for a DT:
Austin Copperheads
Baltimore Hawks
Berlin Fire Salamanders
Colorado Yeti
Honolulu Hahalua
New York Silverbacks (low priority)
Orange County Otters
Philadelphia Liberty
Sarasota Sailfish
San Jose Sabercats
Yellowknife Wraiths
Analysis:
Lots of talent here. Every ISFL team will be selecting a Defensive Tackle in this draft class. If they don’t, then they will be selecting number 1 overall for eternity.
Linebacker
Ranking:
Teams looking for a LB:
Austin Copperheads (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks (low priority)
Berlin Fire Salamanders (low priority)
Chicago Butchers (low priority)
Colorado Yeti (low priority)
Honolulu Hahalua (low priority)
New Orleans Second Line
New York Silverbacks
Orange County Otters
Sarasota Sailfish (low priority)
San Jose Sabercats
Analysis:
A solid Linebacker class where all 4 players project to be starters at the next level. Charlie Thorsen will be a superstar, and is the number 2 player in my big board behind Dolores Bickerman. Jordan Hartline, Monty Ward, and Gribbuh Fister all project to be solid starters as well.
Cornerback
Ranking:
Teams looking for a CB:
Arizona Outlaws (low priority)
Austin Copperheads (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks
Berlin Fire Salamanders (low priority)
Chicago Butchers
Colorado Yeti
New Orleans Second Line
New York Silverbacks
Sarasota Sailfish (low priority)
Analysis:
A very top-heavy draft class. Jason Oexius will be a lockdown corner for teams whose Corners look like burnt toast. Tingis Pingis will project to be a solid starter, but is the Philadelphia Liberty GM so he will be drafted by Philly. Wae Traynes is also projected to be a solid starter in the league. Adam Page might need another season in the DSFL but will be a solid starter as well. Vishy Page and Bacarri Rambo project to be role players, but have the potential to prove me wrong.
Safety
Ranking:
Teams looking for a S:
Arizona Outlaws (low priority)
Berlin Fire Salamanders
Colorado Yeti
New Orleans Second Line (low priority)
Orange County Otters
Sarasota Sailfish (low priority)
Yellowknife Wraiths (low priority)
Analysis:
This is a generally weak Saftey class, but there is still lots of potential. Inspector Gadget, Ryan Murray, and Deckerd Denshaw can be solid starters, but need a bit of time in the DSFL to develop. Dalibor Dvorsky currently projects as a role player, but has the potential to prove me wrong.
Kicker/Punter
Ranking:
Teams looking for KP:
Austin Copperheads (low priority)
Baltimore Hawks
Berlin Fire Salamanders
Honolulu Hahalua
Analysis:
A very top heavy kicker and punter class. Known Acquaintence is as reliable as they come, and will be a solid starter for many years. Cade York Jr. Jr. and Paddy McGuiness need some more time in the DSFL before they will become ice cold in the ISFL.
Team Needs Summary:
