Isn't he the perfect male? A six foot five super alpha male beast of a man. With a neck that John Cena could dream of. Incredible biceps that Dwayne the Rock Johnson could never have. Rumors are that he single handedly crushed Bigfoot's entire body with his bare hands. Yes, of course, I am talking about my brand new character in the International Football Sim League. His name is the one and only Tyler One. Despite what some people may think, he is not related to Laszlo Sixty Nine in any shape or form. The player is just based on the twitch streamer Tyler1 who is very toxic just like me! After some bad experiences with the International Football Sim League in the past, I have decided to recreate and try to make it to the majors. By bad experiences, I don't mean with people (for the most part). I previously had a player in each of the Pro Baseball Experience and the International Football Sim League. I came into sim leagues as a recommendation from my good friend C9 Van. I started out in the Super Casual Football Sim League as the first one I took super seriously and I made a mistake that not just I but many others have also done in the past. Which is going from a casual discord league straight to a forum sim league without knowing what in the ever living fuck I was doing. Not just that, I made the mistake of joining two at the same time! And that obviously killed my interest very quickly, it did not help at all that it became a busy time for me to do sim leagues and I quickly abandoned both. leagues at the same time. It also did not fare well that when I joined a forum league for the first time I scoffed at the idea of writing to do point tasks and improve my player. What is this an efed I thought? And I mean I guess I have basically treated the Pro Baseball Experience that way with my player Bobby Roode who is based on a wrestler that I talk trash to the rest of the league with (in character of course). It just turns out that not only is he a heel also known as a bad guy but I guess Tyler One will also be insufferable on and off the field so this will be perfect to roleplay as. I eventually got around my thoughts or feelings of writing to make your sports character is stupid and I recreated in the Pro Baseball Experience. This time writing as much as possible to gain the most amount of money to let people see that I was serious about it this time. I think I might do the same thing here as well. I want to let people know that I want my new experience in the International Football Sim League to be a good one and I am willing to earn money, and do everything I can to earn both tpe and money to make my player as best as he can possibly be. From what I have heard, the running back spot requires a max earner and a lot of tpe investment which I am willing to put the time into. My track record in the Pro Baseball Experience now proves that I can earn if I feel the motivation to do so. I think I have finally found my motivation as well because I see C9 Van in majors and really enjoying himself nowadays and I also see that my worst enemy Aneeq has joined and really enjoys the league too!
I want to redeem myself after the Tom Teboat fiasco. No, not Nameless Nate's Tom Teboat, he is the fake one. I created the original and best Tom Teboat. I was a Norfolk Seawolf back then and I did enjoy my time there when I had created as this Tim Tebow mockup of a tight end. I met a lot of nice people there and the locker room was very active which was nice to see. I had a lot more free time so was able to talk and contribute to the place consistently. I was eventually given my big break in the second round by the Arizona Outlaws. It did not work out for them and I am sad to have disappointed them, I wish I could have done better by them since they treated me so well and I loved the people there. Maybe this can be part of my redemption arch if they manage to pick me up in the majors draft. That is something that I can worry about later though. For now, my goal is to focus on the Development Football Sim League and impress as many General Managers as possible. I did also have a short stint in the Development Football Sim League a bit after Tom Teboat retired though. I created as Tay Swizzle which was obviously a mock character of Taylor Swift. I was a wide receiver and I had created her exclusively as a minor league player to play with C9 Van hoping that somebody would pick us up. Van did not have the greatest of reputations which was funny as hell to me because I did talk to some teams that were genuinely interested in my player, however as soon as I suggested I wanted to play with him, the interest died off. No hard feelings or anything, I get it lol. The Portland Pythons eventually picked us both up and I think that was a very fitting team to go to considering Taylor Swift had been considered as a snake in the past so I was more than happy to go along with Zeagle's team which I grew to love since so much care was put into it. My locker room activity was not as active as my time in Norfolk however I would like to think that I still contributed enough to make a difference in the culture and meet new people there.
The Portland Pythons team seemed to think so as well. Or hopefully, they did because why the hell would they elect me captain alongside Van in the team? I got war room access and got to see some behind the scenes action from the team. At the time I had quite a bit of general managing experience so I was able to contribute with my thoughts on draft picks and thoughts on how to improve the team. Eventually, Zeagle left and I was a very very sad boi. Father had abandoned me and left Tay Swizzle with abandonment issues. My interest was starting to wane again without him at the helm. It also did not help that I was also very close to retirement or so I thought in my head. Again, this was not supposed to be a major league player. This was just a fuck around with my friend in the minors type of player and I was more than happy to just play for 3-5 seasons and then fuck off again to my main league which was now the Pro Baseball Experience. I was upfront with my last player, at least I think so in regards to if I wanted to play with major league teams and I told them that I did not want to. I just wanted to be a Portland Python forever. However, Bayley took a shot on me in a very low round hoping that I would enjoy my time enough to try out the major leagues as min to mid earner. I did enjoy my time at the Chicago Butchers and having Reno there massively helped as well. Reno is a good friend of mine who I met through god knows where now, I can't even remember what sim league it was anymore, I have been in way too many lol. But having a familiar face around with Bayley did massively help in keeping my interest enough to at least give the team a chance. And I did earn over the cap, not by a lot but I did as an offensive lineman. I did go inactive but I kept up in the background of how my player was doing and eventually I learned that my player who I mostly did not care about and kept in the background had become an Ultimus champ. Kind of funny how things turn out in sim leagues isn't it? You care so much about winning sometimes, it is the only thing you want and the only thing you can think of. When you least want it or least expect it, it feels like the sim league gods will cause pain to the other person by giving it to you instead. At least, that is how sim leagues have treated me both as a player and general manager lol. So there is a little tip to winning rings I guess? Stop caring so much and just earn!
Anyways, I have rambled on for way too long now and this is the important part that general managers of both the International Football Sim League and Development Football Sim League will care about. I am open to any team in both leagues, well most teams anyway. I have already received some scouting messages so I guess I am a little late but I will name some teams I will not play for and my reasons for not wanting to play there. I will plan on writing a media as well about my scouting conversations with general managers but that is for later. Since I am only in the minor league draft I will keep it to minor leagues for now. This is in order of the forum and based on nothing else really so do not take the order as something you should be looking into. So without further ado, here are my initial thoughts on the teams in the Development Football Sim League
Kansas City Coyotes - Yup, fine by me. Scout me bb
London Royals - Sebster, Jabs, Bauer, Orbiting Death? Sign me the hell up! As long as Gordo wants me lol/ But scout me first please.
Minnesota Grey Ducks - As I said, Aneeqs is there at the moment and I hate him so please scout me too
Portland Pythons - I got to play here as a waiver and it is still an awesome team. I would love to return, scout me.
Bondi Beach Buccaneers - AK41 and Eric Belmont. My Kingpins! Yes, please scout me!
Dallas Birddogs - Do not really know anyone besides Isa. A clean slate is always nice. Go for it!
Norfolk SeaWolves - Do not get along with multiple users here. Do not draft or even bother scouting me, please
Tijuana Luchadores - Already told them, but I had a bad experience with a general manager in the past there and now they are dead to me. Shame as they are the Mexican team and I would love to play for a Mexican based sim league team one day. Especially one based in the north.
Not going to lie. I thought that would go way worse than it did. I expected to notice a lot more people I do not get along with or something that prevented me from wanting to go to that team. The one thing I do like is being scouted, so if you have any intention of picking me up please scout me or I will throw my toys away and neither you nor I will like that lmao. I have already experienced being drafted and not even being talked to or extended as much as an invitation to the locker room (Shoutout Simulation Hockey League! And another irrelevant league I was drafted in to!). It sucks and makes people feel like shit. So please show that you care at least. I would like to think that I was a good general manager to my players so someone not doing the same thing to me does not feel great. That is it for now though. Those are my thoughts for now on the league in general, I guess we will talk again after I gather some scouting thoughts on teams. I also host a podcast with my friends Aneeq and C9 Van to get money so hopefully, money will not be an issue with podcasts and media. Hopefully, a job that I am interested in opens up too for even more income. Toodles and see ya around!
