good lord I didn't even realize how much EPA/rush did not like Armor Queen this season. tbh i don't think EPA really cares that much about TDs (at least not for RBs or WRs—for QBs they matter a bit more), really, at least not how much you'd be directed to care about them from fantasy. fantasy tells us that the yard between the 1 yard line and the endzone has the same value of 61 yards, so every season the player who scores a bunch of TDs is lauded as having a fantastic season (because that player is winning everybody their fantasy groups), even if they didn't do especially well in terms of scoring their team points. Meanwhile, EPA says that the yard between the 1 yard line and the goal line is worth about 11 "normal" yards, which is a lot, to be sure. But yea, this is my anti-fantasy rant. fantasy makes us think about football in weird ways. (AQ had a great season though! There is more to football than efficiency)
Do you think there would be a way for a fantasy king/queen to be really good with EPA or is such a thing not possible?
It's absolutely possible! For instance, JHM has been consistently good in fantasy as well as efficient EPA-wise for the last couple seasons. It's just that EPA doesn't value TDs nearly as much as fantasy does so you see players with a bunch of TDs getting way overvalued imo
