Not sure how many people realize I still have an active player in the league, but it's finally time to let her rest. Ganyu was a player I really enjoyed having despite not panning out how I foresaw. Starting as a QB with the intention of playing for KCC, getting drafted to Bondi instead and swapping to LB, getting called up to NOLA and having a relatively good start before BOOM, I burned out.
Ganyu had all the potential to be an amazing player, but in trying to be as present as possible in the league and unwilling to put myself first, I ended up taking on more than I could handle. Stepping in as Bondi GM, becoming a member of the PPT and then the PPT Head, always trying to be on awards committee, and handling the majority of Bondi's sim testing. It was way too much and the focus for me stopped being about having fun and focusing on my player and more about meeting the obligations of my league jobs.
SO, with that said, I will be recreating in the ISFL now that I've had some time to breathe and am at a point in my life where I can handle the obligations of a player comfortably. I plan to make this third player my best yet and see their career all the way through. Thanks to the teams that gave Ganyu a home for her career, I had a blast while I was active and was happy to see her do so well for a couple of months. NOLA and Berlin are both incredible teams and I'm glad that regardless of activity, our paths crossed at all. Excited to start the process anew!
