During the S4 offseason, we all expected the Yeti won't sign any player. It was boring offseason for the team. They had the money to sign any player but they were always listed last in most of the UFA team ranking. Thus, the only move the Colorado Yeti were able to do is resigning their UFA. Alex Hayden, one of the best CB in the league, received an offer from the Wraiths. The Yeti had no choice and used their RFA tag on Alex Hayden and matched the offer Yellowknife Wraiths offer. Alex Hayden is happy to play for the Yeti. He's the best defensive player in the Colorado Yeti team this season. He has so 10 passes defended and 3 passes intercepted. It's still unclear if he wants to move somewhere or if he wants to stay in Denver. He has a great stats so far this season but I feel he could be overshadowed by other top corner back in this league because of the poor results of the Yeti. If the Yeti would move Alex Hayden, they would receive a lot of asset which would help a lot with their rebuild. He also has a player option in his contract so he will find out soon.
