[div align=\\\"center\\\"]The Complete Player Rankings of NSFL Season 7[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Rankings, 30 – 21 [/div]
30. Tuck, J. - DE - ----- 11.4083760441699
One of the most controversial figures in NSFL history, Jayce Tuck (the many faced god, the original Outlaw), has been pretty quiet since his return from suspension. Tuck, in spite of his public quietness, has been incredibly productive since he was traded from the Outlaws to the Wraiths. In S7, his last before regression, Tuck had a very strong season on the defensive line, finishing with 5 sacks and 5 tackles for a loss for the 13-1 Wraiths. Now in regression, it will be interesting to see how long Tuck can hang on in the league. The Hall of Fame will be an interesting question for voters. This writer knows Tuck isn’t getting his vote at least.
29. Browning, B. - WR - ----- 11.533041771198
Another draft steal, Budda Browning was a late round pick in the S3 draft. Since his trade from the Liberty to Arizona Browning has shown the ability to be a true number 1 receiver. Browning added a lot of value to the Outlaws through the air as a receiver. Browning as a receiver alone would have been just above Dustin Evans on this list, however since he added value with his return touchdown Browning is ranked this high. With over 1300 yards and 8 touchdowns, Browning is now on the move to Baltimore to be a Wide Receiver three to try and win that ever elusive ring.
28. Willie, T. - WR - ----- 11.9328705206427
One of the best receivers in the NSFL Trey Willie checks in here at number 28. Willie was part of the third most efficient pass offense in the league, catching balls from Avon Blocksdale. Willie is on a Hall of Fame path, long being in the top five of receiving yards in the NSFL. Willie caught 82 balls for 1248 yards and finished second in the league with 14 touchdowns, one behind the leader. This year with even more talent around him, except Willie to continue to flourish as some of his competitors (and their QBs) have entered regression.
27. Goodson, N. - LB - ----- 12.0954010709494
The former number 1 over all pick in the S4 draft, Noah Goodson has had a very solid career. A tackle machine Goodson racked up 90 of them for the Baltimore Hawks in the S7 season. Goodson alongside Roenick gives Baltimore a dynamic young line backing core that is nearly unrivaled in the NSFL. In addition to the 90 tackles, Goodson finished with 10 sacks and three passes defended. Goodson is a core part of this above average Hawks defense, and a big reason their future looks so bright.
26. Garden, J. - WR - ----- 12.2123439399516
Cursed no more! Cursed no more! Josh Garden, long considered the best receiver in the NSFL, has finally broken through and won an Ultimus. He has had a bit of a nomadic career, starting in Yellowknife with the Wraiths, moving on to signing the richest deal in NSFL history in Arizona, and then being traded to the Philadelphia Liberty. Garden was the favorite downfield target for strong armed QB Tyler Oles. Garden caught 84 balls for nearly 1300 yards and 6 touchdowns. Garden is now beginning regression, and the question for many will be does he deserve the Hall of Fame? Garden currently sits second in career receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.
25. LeClair, A. - WR - ----- 12.229279964665
The other half of Baltimore’s dynamite receiving duo in S7, Alexandre LeClair added more value by this metric than Trey Willie since touchdowns do not factor in to the formula. LeClair has been a star ever since he left the Legion in a trade that sent Ricardo Sandoval to Vegas and LeClair to the Hawks. LeClair caught 67 balls for 1297 yards and 8 touchdowns. His average of 19.1 yards per catch ranked third in the league. LeClair is now in regression but has at least a few good seasons left in him. He’s part of this S8 Hawks Ultimus push.
24. Bronko, K. - QB - ----- 12.5204892353158
The three time Champion, King Bronko was the 5th most efficient quarterback in the S7 season, good enough to place him 24 on this list. Bronko had an 84.8 QB rating to go along with 23 touchdowns, 16 interceptions and 4165 passing yards. Bronko is now in regression in S8 and has a very young receiving core around him. Don’t expect him to put up gaudy stats in S8 given that he’s not surrounded by much on offense. The question is will what he’s done be enough to put him in the Hall of Fame? He’s currently third in career passer rating, second in touchdowns and third in yards (though by the end of S8 he’ll easily be second). Given the three Ultimus titles, I would have to say yes.
23. Hendrix, Ku. - DE - ----- 12.6351958294877
The Long time Captain of the Baltimore Hawks, Kurt Hendrix will long be remembered by fans in Baltimore and all across the NSFL. Hendrix had a very strong season in S7, leading Defensive ends in sacks with 9. He also added 49 tackles including 3 for a loss. Hendrix is 5th all-time in tackles for a loss, and still has the single season record for most tackles in a season. Now inactive and in regression, it will be interesting to see what these next few seasons can add to his legacy. Hendrix is still in search of his first Ultimus, and it looks like S8 might be his best chance since Seasons 2 and 3.
22. Bavitz, I. - FS - ----- 12.7180124240746
The captain of the three straight Ultimus Champions, Orange County Otters, Bavitz has had an incredible career. He announced this offseason that his S8 season would be his last, and if it’s anything like his S7 season it will be one for the ages. Bavitz was incredible in S7 showing true versatility. He had 83 tackles, 13 sacks, 11 passes defended, an astounding 8 interceptions (good to lead the league) and an incredible two defensive touchdowns. Bavitz was far and away the most valuable player in the secondary in the NSFL ( Ryan Flock who ranked 58 overall was second), and that just shows his dominance. After a relatively quiet start to his career, Bavitz has dominated the past few seasons.
21. O'Sullivan, J. - LB - ----- 12.9143137835006
One of the most versatile linebackers in the league, Julian O’Sullivan checks in at number 21 on this list. One of the best defenders on an improved New Orleans Second Line defense O’Sullivan was a monster in S7. He finished 4th in the league in tackles with 119, added 6 sacks and interception and an incredible 14 passes defended. O’Sullivan makes up one third of one of the best line backing trios in the NSFL, and at 21 is actually the lowest ranked of the three. He moved from the Orange County Otters to the second line after requesting a trade to move to an up and coming team. We’ll see if he can help lead NOLA to the promised land.
