All I've asked from Logan Noble is that he immortalize himself with a truly historic performance. He did that. By taking 13 sacks in one game, he tied a league record (Bercovici, S3, Wk 14). With 90 yards lost from sacks, though, he broke a record. And while Bercovici's record was set in the last season without OL bots against the #1 defense in the league, Noble did it with OL bots against a pretty mediocre defense. Thank you, Logan Noble.
Fitzpatrick had what should have been a great game, playing the worst pass defense in the league, but instead decided to throw 3 interceptions on just 30 attempts. His dreams of a 4.2 rookie year are now officially dead.
Pennington had a really rough night, with 1 touchdown against 3 interceptions and a fumble. He currently has a minor lead over Fitzpatrick, but a road game against NOLA on Monday may end that.
Akselsen continues to slowly climb out of the gutter, but is still the #5 QB this season. At least fumbles don't count against any more.
Applehort's hot streak is officially over after two lacklustre performances, but his breakout season is still living up to expectations just fine.
6 touchdowns against 0 interceptions and Mike Boss is back in the top 3. I don't think he'll climb any higher than that, but at least he is ending with a solid season.
Maximus has, thus far, failed to live up to his impressive S8, but he got a lot closer tonight. With a home game against San Jose Monday, he might break his previous best.
For everyone worried that Blocksdale's performance tonight knocked him out of MVP consideration, he is still very much on track. His next two games will feature his easiest and hardest match ups of the season.
