11. Will Nuck may have lineage to his name but he did take a truly different path to the ISFL then most other player have during their time. Being the grandson of the late and one time GM and owner of the Yellowknife Wraith Bubba Nuck. Will has been around the football world in one way or another sense his birth. Although he did grow up and was raised in what could be called a non Football market, Yellowknife was his home until he left for collage in Vancouver BC. While he played his high school ball, the competition was not that hard, seeming that most schools didnt even have a team. Young Nuck and his fellow teammates had to travel a lot during the early years just to find opponents. Will was lucky though and offered a dozen or so Division one university offers for his post secondary education. He turned them all down to spend his University time playing at home in Canada at the University of British Columbia. There was a lot of people who figured that he was only offered those division one offers based off of his name and his time at UBC only went to strengthen those opinions. He didnt struggle per say and he was usually the best player on the field but he was far from breaking any records or making the front page of the sports section. Will did well but was just not excelling and lots feel like thats why he landed as a fourth round pick to Kansas during the DSFL. Yet again people questioned if he even belonged as high as he did and many more speculated if he would ever even play a down for KCC. But here we are now just mere weeks from the ISFL draft and Will Nuck is looking to be a possible second round pick it many mock drafts.
16. Kansas City had an absolute roller coaster of a year this season, even though they may have finished last the entire ride was a nail bitter. The team came out flat from the start and was looking like a bottom dweller off the line. The pre season was an epic blunder, yes they may have been .500 with 2 wins and 2 loses the team had higher expectations heading into it. Having solid left over talent from the previous seasons and some great fresh new faces to fill the gaps, KCC was looking like a front runner and a team ready to do things late into the year. The woeful ways only got worse as the regular season had started with a floundering flop. They lost their first 3 games of the season to make a tidy little losing streak of 4 in a row. This only hurt their long term goals and had the fans looking for heads to fly and jobs to be lost. The dream season was in jeopardy and nobody's job was safe! Just as everyone in the football world had expected to see a big trade, possibly a selling off off of assets or even a firing, things started to look up. The team gained some momentum and got their first win. This did wonders to the team and it was easy to see that the hearts and drive of all involved were lifted. The Coyotes were on a tear and went on to win 4 straight games. But then possible disaster struck and we seen the KCC's starting capped QB get called up to the ISFL. KCC went on to finish the season with a 3-4 record, just enough to see them grasping at that last playoff position and losing out in the final lose of the season. Props are to be made as the team did play well with the lose of the starter midway.
