TIER TWO
8. This task is exclusive to non-recreate rookies of the S46 class and later. In 300 words or more, how has your experience been in the league? Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented?
My experience in the league has been limited at best, so I do not know if I am the person to ask about it. Take what I am saying with a grain of salt. The website has been somewhat difficult to navigate for me, since I am used to the layout of the PBE, and only the PBE, but the user Crazy Tomato has been helpful in making sure I find what I need to. And Tyler Higbee has been very encouraging, as I think he is just stoked to see someone else play as a tight end. I do not understand why more people would not want to play in such a weird position, as I expect there is going to be plenty of opportunity to stand out. I am not too satisfied with my player’s early start, simply because I have been so busy in real life that I have not max earned, and I believe I have lost out on 15 tpe as a result? Especially when a player can only go for 7 years before hitting regression, this seems pretty bad. But in one game against the Seawolves, I recorded my first two catches! I am looking forward to the next two catches, when I am more present in the league. I will celebrate somehow. I have no idea when I am going to be drafted. I mean that in every sense of the sentence. I don’t know if tight ends have the capacity to be value by a gm enough to warrant a first round pick being used on them, and I don’t know when the ISFL draft actually begins in a player’s career. Like, is it soon? Does it take a whole, full season? There’s so much that seems like it has to be consciously learned in this league, and yes, the mentors are helpful, but you have to ask the questions otherwise you are screwed. It is unintuitive to me. But I know that if things were to change, then every other user who has actually learned the dang thing would be confused so I suppose I will just have to learn like the rest of them.

11. Write a short biography or story about your player. This could include background about how they came to the ISFL and how they’ve done so far, a story about their role in an exciting game, or anything else related to their experience in the league.
Kurt Wagner was born in Wittenberg Germany, and no one knows exactly who he was born to. He was found in a woven basket that had run aground by the brook bank, which was near a wishing well. It just so happened that a young couple was at the well, praying to have a child to call their own, and then, as if by some miracle, little Kurt let forth some gurgles of laughter. The couple, Friedrich and Wilma Wagner, alerted to the baby’s presence, marched down to the stream confident that this was the answer to their prayers. They were so confident that when they saw a little blue boy in the basket, they shook their heads and saw a perfectly normal child instead. So deluded by hope, Friedrich and Wilma took in the child of the villainous mutant Mystique and the devil Azazel, to raise as their own. As a result of this first encounter with his adoptive parents, Kurt learned to never reveal his true hue, a cobalt blue skin tone with scales along some parts of his epidermis, instead opting for a perfect blend of his Friedrich and Wilma. The couple didn’t even realize that when they rescued the boy, he had green eyes, not the blue ones currently on display, and they didn’t question that his shock of black hair had curiously become blonde. When people passed the Wagners on the street, everyone remarked on how you could see so much of the two in little Kurt. As the years passed, little Kurt became big and strong, far surpassing either of his adopted parents in terms of height, speed, or strength. Of course, this all came down to his superior mutant genomes, which allowed him to become a star athlete without even trying, but Kurt had to keep up appearances, and because of the extra gym sessions he undertook to avoid suspicion, mixed with his own superhuman DNA, Kurt became a beast. Once he heard of football, he’d know this was what he was made for. But that’s a story for another time.
