Growing up in Nebraska, Benji was exposed to many various cultures. One of his neighbors was an elderly woman who grew up in Mexico and her family wove rugs. While he was growing up, to earn some money and help out his neighbors, Benji would help sell the authentic Mexican rugs on the weekends. It was always special to him to help out this family.
Now that Benji is making a name for himself, sponsorships have started to come his way. Playing in Tijuana has brought back many memories of his neighbors, especially the handmade rugs. So he realized he could provide a win-win for a major rug company, so his agent called up Rugs Direct and pitched a promotion. Rugs Direct will promote rugs sourced from Tijuana and Benji will star in the commercials! The commercials immediately boosted the local Tijuana economy and even earned Benji a sweet cash bonus. But it wasn’t the money he was looking for. Afterall, he just loves the way a rug really ties a room together. We all know that @dude_woman would agree. After arriving home from training in the afternoon, Benjamin Duvernay decided to take some time to rest and catch up on the weekly news on his phone as he had not previously had time to do so. When checking his phone he noticed a few new emails in his inbox. There were a couple new sponsorship offers. A wonderful development he thought as he checked each of them. The first one was a state farm commercial and sponsorship offer. Although the pay was generous, he cringed at the thought of being in a state farm commercial knowing he could not act, so he declined it. Reading through the second one, which was a Raid Shadow Legends™ sponsorship, he was gleeful at the offer to be paid by the company to use his likeness making him a character in his favorite mobile game. After accepting the offer, he decided that he was going to play some Raid Shadow Legends™.
DJ Maclean may be playing football down under now, and in Idaho before that, but he is a Scotsman at heart! What better way to do the work of raising awareness of a Scottish product across the DSFL, while also raising the profile of the league in Scotland, than by taking a sponsorship from a Scottish product! It doesn’t even have to involve lots of money, DJ is a humble guy and isn’t just looking for a big pay day. There are a few options. What is more Scottish than haggis? Unfortunately, it is far from DJ’s favourite dish and he would feel a fraud promoting something that he doesn’t really like. The big 2 would be the Scottish snack dynasty that is Tunnock’s, and their fine array of biscuits, such as Teacakes, Caramel Logs and the legendary Caramel Wafer! But, at the end of the day, there’s only really one choice, and that is Scotland’s *other* national drink, Irn Bru! The only demand he will make is that they go back to their classic tagline of ‘Made in Scotland… from girders!’
Hi. I'm Florida Man. You might know me from being on Sportscenter damn near every week. And what's the reason I'm on Sportscenter damn near every week, even when it isn't football season? Why that'd be cuz of my favorite beverage, a big ol' tall boy Natty Light. You'll be hard-pressed to find me after the big game not holding a tall boy in my hand. Or before the game. Or hell, sometimes during the game if ya know where to hide 'em. Tastes great, and at only 95 calories, I can stay in peak physical condition to make the easiest 78 yard touchdowns you've ever seen in your life. And then, guess who ends up being the life of the party after every big win? Or the crowd reviver after every crushing loss? Or the very conflicted man after every middling tie? The guy who bring the Natties. BRING THE PARTY!
