Teams are going to lose, it simply comes with the territory. To Lheorvine Adebisi, they key is not to let the loss linger too long in the psyche. A loss can help focus a player and a team. It can help them identify weaknesses, review mistakes, and if nothing else the pure feeling of loss is one to be avoided. But at some point the loss has to be put into the past, lest a losing mentality take over where plays and actions are second guessed, decision making slows down, and the team as a whole loses confidence in itself. In that area is where Adebisi shines. He is willing to let his teammates feel a loss for a while, but there comes a moment where its time to get back to work, to get ready for the next game, the next season. He isn't one to simply say "on to next week," but he does help his teammates keep the lesson of what went wrong without reliving the sting of it.
