The Austin Copperheads, to the surprise of many, but not to me, have been kind of good. They've been competitive with every team other than yellow knife, and if the playoffs started today, they'd be in it. Not far outside of the picture though are the Orange County Otters, who kind of man handled the Copperheads in their last bout. This is why I would like to highlight the week 14 showdown between the Orange County Otters and the Austin Copperheads as my best pick for a primetime game. It has major playoff implications, a very important factor for prime time games. It is also an opportunity for revenge, which makes for a great storyline, which you would look for in a primetime game. If the ISFL were to actually implement prime time games, this is the one I would pick, and I would happily cast it as it would be an epic time.
With the upcoming playoff race I think it is always nice to highlight some new blood/unexpected winners in this race. Austin was a team that many people had written off for this upcoming season yet they have put together a few impressive wins in order to keep them competitive. Obviously if there is one player that I think needs more of a spot light that would have to be Chopper Donquioxte as he is popping off and emerging as one of the top receivers in the league. While the Otters are not having the season they were hoping to (thanks ISFL sim team for that resim) I still think he has turned many heads and really proven that Roque is in fact his child. The Otters don't have many exciting games coming up since they are out of the playoff race but I think it is worth it to check out some of their games to watch the new emerging stars on the team go out and compete for rookie of the year and such, an award currently help by Mr. Donquioxte. I also think I would be remiss to not mention that the Secondline are putting together another stellar season and could very well be the team to watch as we head into the end of the season. In a similar situation are the San Jose Sabercats. SJS are in the last year of their championship window and if they want to hoist a trophy they really need to make this year the year that they do so.

The big question when London (6-1) and Norfolk (4-2-1) get together in Week 13 will be who can set themselves up with huge momentum for the playoffs with a big win against a great team. Both teams are on top of their respective divisions, and when these two teams clashed in Week 2, an uncharacteristically poor passing attack doomed Norfolk in a 20-12 loss. London has been playing some extraordinary football all season, with their one blemish coming at the hands of Dallas, while Norfolk has had a more rollercoaster performance which has featured some unebelievable highs on both offense and defense. It's clear that both of these teams will be either still on top of their divisions or right in the hunt, so there's no better setup for an epic week 13 primetime clash than this. Everyone will have their eyes on the two quarterbacks, as reigning DSFL MVP Dexter Morgan puts his top-ranked passer rating up against rookie Jack Cannon's league-leading TD pass mark. Both players are top-two in each category, and both will look to lead their offenses to victory in this blockbuster regular season matchup.
