Raphael had a very interesting proposal from several publishers.
Ever since he and his brothers were young and playing they were quite the spectacle. He was used to it. They by themselves and their tortoise mutant nature would draw fans and attention just by being in the lineup. This lead to a lot of bad businessmen trying to profit off of them, to turn them into sideshow freak acts. Ruin their dignity for the sake of profit, and not even profit to help out the McTurtles or their community.
The book that Raphael would eventually agree to wasn't some run of the mill athlete ghost written book that are a dime a dozen. No, this was an inside look of actually growing up poor and an outcast. Living in the sewers and living off scraps and charity in what is supposed to be the freest country in the world (at least self proclaimed). The class divide between the owners and the workers, and a lite call towards a worker revolution to take back their country.
It will promptly be banned in many nations.
